The sound of hooves and heavy paws made people turn to the sound, and giving them a shock. Tosho and Anba were at it again, stealing apples and meats from the stands, and letting Tosho do the pickpocketing. Both of them carried a bag, each full.
"Get back here!" A small, muscular, short blue furred dragon chased after them.
Tosho looked behind them and hissed loudly. "Damnit." He lowered his voice, speaking to Anba. "He's here."
Anba looked up at him and nodded, still running on all fours like a tiger normally does. Right?
Tosho took her bag with his tail and helped her up to her feet quickly. He grabbed Anba's hand, the firey fur feeling horrible against his ice cold, scaled fingers. He looked at her as if to be ask for permission, and she blinked. He nodded slightly and teleported away in an icy flash of light, leaving the dragon to scramble to a halt. "Tosho!!!"
The two appeared in front of a house, which seemed charred and the ceiling caved in a room. They walked in, Anba slipping her hand away and making sure no one had followed, her yellow eyes scanning the streets. She slid into the house quietly, closing the door with a soft 'click'. She turned around, startled by the sight of a skeleton shaking Tosho, another peaking his skull out of a room, staring at his sister.
"Where. We're. You!" She demanded, continuing to shake the tall ice demon, having to tilt her skull all the way up to look him in the eyes.
"Main Street." Tosho answered, blinking once and sounding like it wasn't a problem.
The skeleton stopped, her red eye light brightening. "Oh wow! I bet you guys grabbed a lot food and coins huh?" Her voice was laced with sarcasm.
"Actually..." Tosho pointed to the bag on the table with a clawed finger.
Anba laid her bag beside Tosho's, then proceeded to take her black and red cloak and heavily footed, over knee boots.
The blue eyed skeleton walked in, and gently took the two bags, grunting from the weight. His sister snorted. "Fine." She let go of Tosho's arms, letting him walk over to Anba, helping her with her boots.
The tiger let him, silent as she was set on a table, her feet almost on the floor. Tosho untied them, bringing the laces down. Now, one might wonder why you needed someone else to untie your shoes at the age of 16. For Anba, it's fine. She lives on fire. Fire flowed in her body, a star shaped core of lava keeping her up and running. Her hands would burn the laces, so this was normal. Tosho went to the next boot, doing the same thing. The skeleton crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. Her brother walked back to her, watching them. "They'd make a good couple." He whispered to her.
Anba turned and looked at him, horrified with the thought of it. "I would not, for once in my life, go into a relationship!"
Tosho snorted, knowing that sometimes she felt that way for him. It's hard to stop the growing of fire when you're made of it. While the four are fussing between each other, let us take this elsewhere, for they will not stop fussing until Anba looses it and makes everyone stop.
The dragon stood up, a slightly under height male with the same ears and speckled blue fur in its place. He growled as another person came towards him while he dusted his armour off.
"Well?" She questioned, staring down at him.
"Tosho and Anba were reported stealing again by Yume and Akumu. The two got away again, both with heavily filled bags." He answered, giving a short report.
She rolled her eyes, placing a hand on the hilt of her sword. "Of course they got away. They always get away. They're like fish, Yuki. You need a net to keep them there, or you take the harsh route and grap the harpoon."
Yuki nodded. "Yes, I know. But I don't have a net, or a harpoon. What then?"
The cat owl woman opened her white furred maw, then closed it. She furrowed her brows, her fingers drumming the hilt of her sword. She glanced at the sky, then looked at Yuki again. "Why couldn't you use your sword or daggers?"
Yuki blinked. "I was in my other form, Karuma. It takes a second to get back to normal, and swords are melee weapons."
She stared at him, raising a brow. "Well okay. Let's get back to the castle. Stardust told me she has... Both the harpoon and the net."
