Garnet rough sketch

A sketch I did a few months ago. The first time I've really drawn this guy where he looks at least halfway decent, or at least similar to how he looks in my head...
Meet Garnet. Yes, he's a cowboy. Contrary to popular belief (or so I've been told....) he is NOT a space cowboy...
I don't know if any other writers/artists do this...but whenever I have strong characters, they seem to just form these distinct personalities in my head. So much so that for many of my characters, I know what they sound like--if they were to ever be voiced in a animated version or something. For Garnet, I listened to a ridiculous number of voices, and finally tracked down the perfect one for him--Mitch Rossell.
