With a last drop of power I stood up and hit Yves on his face throwing him up on the other side of the room. Yves face smashing from the wall making a sound like something snapped. In that moment reached for a pipe ready to bash his head open but I could not strike.
I watched him as I felt a burn on my face. I was healing fast. That scared me heavy, as my heart started to pound in my chest, first slow beats and steady like an ache then rapid as I kneeled in front of an unconscious boy.
Trembling, I reached toward his head, caressing his sodden hair in blood feeling how my heart pace get steady as my eyelids became heavy. "Why Yves..." I babbled most for myself. It was nobody to hear me only the creatures that lurked outside the window and the spiders that crawled on the walls.
We both were monsters and I wasn't strong enough to fight. With that thought I laid down near him waiting to be devoured by the worms once I will die, but that never came.
Death was too good for me.
"Nat?" I heard Yves low tone. He was scared and in a corner shaking heavy as I had my head on his lap. "What happen? That bad creature ..." He could not continue he could see in the dirty marble his reflection his eyes were a red mixed with black and green. They resemble a dump swamp but in the same time vivid, as you watched in them the red mesmerized you resembling a blaze. .
Then he let an excruciating shout, that vibrated all my body. I reach his face with my hand and caressed it with my thumb, feeling his tears seeping like an invisible snake between my fingers. It broke my heart seeing him weil and I was powerless.
Biting my bottom lip felt as my freshly new skin snap as my mouth was flowed once again with my own blood fulfilling a silent pleasure, satiating my thirst that burned my throat that smother me since the moment I opened my eyes, in the forest this afternoon. My body craved for more, my heart is tainted by the things that capture my entire being.
"Everything will be okay," I manage to mumble as Yves nodded. "In the morning we will go home and what happen here nobody will ever know." I continued as I tried to form a plan how to get rid of the body but only one thing I could do.
With this promised I stood up and walked toward her body as Yves stares with big eyes at me. Crouching near the corpse I grasp her from the head and I start to tear her body in pieces. At the end I wrapped her in a plastic veil from the showers that was down on the floor near me. This bag will become her final sleeping place, in an unnamed grave.
Breathing fast, I drag it out, in the rain and hide it, in a cave which I collapsed. One kick was needed. That strong the thing inside me made, but with that made me realize that one stronger touch, I could snap someone arm.
As I watched the hole; getting filled with mud I prayed that we will never kill. Olly body being pulled in a similar cave made me shudder as his imagine was still vivid in my mind, tattooed on my retina.
"She will now never be found", I turned and looked straight into Yves eyes' promising him that, for Yves well being. I realized we will never be the same. A gentle touch on my arm pulls me from my thoughts, making me blink few times as the pouring rain washed us.
I ripped my dirty rag that had on me and threw it after in the hole before would had been forever sealed. Yves had a lifeless look in his eyes and I knew. I will protect him from any harm. He wasn't anymore the innocent boy I met a week ago.
He approaches me fearful and wraps his arms around me as his ear touched my chest. "Our hearts still beat." He whispers as through me his feeling alongside a vision takes my breath away, as in the distance I could hear our salvation coming in our way, not knowing, they will not save two innocent boys because tonight we both had a rebirth in something else, inhuman ...
