Eyolf showing that he can be a good physician, beyond the theatrical appearances. Illustrations for chapter "Miracle", which you can read here: https://tapas.io/episode/1454513
1. Eyolf and the newborn he assists through birth;
2. Eyolf with the peasant crowd, the baby's father thanking him for saving his wife and child;
3. Hildigunn "respectfully" (and with great satisfaction) telling Yngvar to fuck off by Eyolf's orders ^^
Really like the third one. The face is almost expressionless, but one can guess this lack of expression is indicative (I don't dare to say 'expressive' ^^)
When the dark secrets of his past threaten to be exposed, Eyolf Sólhrafn - Norway's most famous mystic of the late 10th century - fears the end of his prosperous career, so he has no choice but to rely on the flimsy relationship with his new ally, the austere Yngvar Eindride. Though different like sun and moon, Eyolf and Yngvar start out as business partners, struggle with their clashing ideologies, political rivals and Eyolf's past mistakes and misfortunes, in the process building a stronger connection between them...
