WARNING: bit of gore, not much. Cannibalism.
Hungry...
The creature voice echoes; as a wind roars through the branches.
A thunder from outside pulled me out from my reverie I felt as I jolt back to reality, while my eyes lands on the desk. The drawer was semi open and a paper on which a poem was written on sticked out the most. I knew each line and word, even if was covered by an old photo album. I wrote it for my mother, but never gave it to her. Grazing the paper made me realize how deep I fallen.
Mother, I wish to come home;
But I lost control over my emotions;
The boy whom you once knew had died;
In return you got a monster;
Always hungry;
The pain erupts through all my body and I'm tired;
I wonder if the world can feel how my heart is
Inert as it is taken over by the darkness;
While I forever I will sleep in the crimson forest;
Always to recall my nemesis;
While I will feed, the blood is one with me a part of me;
Forgive me mother because I'm heartless as you try to gaze into my eyes;
We're all broken unable to heal;
As I drown in the abyss I been pulled;
Thick and sweet, that I crave for;
I'm like a bird trapped in a cage;
And from the moment I will spread my wings, my world will vanish in thin air;
As the creature from inside, will take my place
Like a sunset, my light shall fade away;
Devouring my dreams and hopes alongside the last drop of humanity from me...
This was the man I become. How can someone tell his parent that inside him a creature grows. Above the poem was a photo of a forest as the trees and sky reflected on the lake near by. The reflection was a cheap embodiment of the original, like that it looked the sunset. Rusty colors of the canopy and the purple mixed with strands of orange and red painted the lake.
Glancing at it gives me a sensation of serenity, but as well disturbance. It was the last photo before I was taken alongside Yves and Oliver. The all setting from the photo gave me an; omen awareness.
"Starving..."
I whispered while closed the drawer and walked toward the kitchen, but I wasn't hungry for food, but succulent flesh to feel the blood dripping my chin. I know it wasn't my craves, but she always won.
My eyes landed on a metallic door which had a locker on, the pantry. My heart started to speed up as my body twitched. A buzz on the table made me came back to my senses. Dropping an eye, I could see was a message from Yves.
Five minutes and we have guests; prepare our room for some fun...
It was followed by an emoticon with a wink which made me hum softly. Food was on the way. Walking toward the window I pulled away the curtain sligthly only to see a shadow in the glass.
At the thought of the upcoming meal my thoughts about Emilian scattered only to come back in full force as I glance outside the window.
"You're not my brother, I loath you..."
His words still were heavy craved in my heart the moment I decided to leave the house to protect them from me. I could feel his rage as his all body was shaking. Saliva was dripping on his chin as he shouted after me...
I'm the bad brother after all.
A soft knock in the door pulled me back from the past land memories and with one move I pulled back the curtain and rush to the door. Hesitating, I open it only to see those raven eyes which always look over me. Yves smirked as he played with his keys from his car and wiggles his eyebrows making me a sign to look behind him.
"Tsk..." I could only say making him shrug. "It will be too messy," I lean toward him as I whisper.
"Do not worry, Nat!" He tells me as he entered in the apartment and jumped straight on the sofa. His black short hair was wet from the pouring rain and drops of water were falling on his shoulder, making my senses vibrating. He was near me...
"When we can start?" The guy says making me shake my thoughts of the creature that flooded my head with images of her feeding. I glanced at both. The guy was massive and well build while the young boy near was skinny and short, but his eyes made me to reconsider our action of tonight. A fast scan nothing more, I didn't need to remember them.
"In few minutes after we will drink a glass of brandy," I said, as Yves sticked out his tongue and touched it with few pokes, telling me that now was the time. Turning back I poured few glasses as from my tongue saliva falls down in their glasses, more into the child glass of juice.
I could feel Yves wicked smile,as my shoulder throbbed, while his eyes shined with desire. We will feed...
"Here it is!" Yves jumped from the sofa coming in a haste to take the glasses from my hands, touching my arm. A single flash and knew why he choose them. A bastard who screw the life of many children and his own son. A innocent child, which his father tainted his childhood.
A smile blossomed on my lips as Yves black eyes darkened and a mischievous smile appeared making him looking like a predator. Yves leaned toward me and whispers something, as our guests sipped from their glasses.
"Is up to you what you do with the boy, but I have plans with the guy..."
I nodded as my heart rushed in my chest.
Yves turned toward the guy and suddenly his mimic changes into a lamb and childish tilting his head toward the room inviting both. The guy stood up slightly wobbling as my venom started his effect, paralyzing his body. Yves took him as he winks at me and says something as I read his lips.
"Sweet late dinner..." I scoffed, Yves knows I would prefer to starve, but then the bitch will take over and who knows what will happen. Turning my back to the room I could hear the chains rattling. Who thought the tiny Yves will grow taller than me, and stronger.
Gazing at the sleeping boy, I walked toward him and caressed his forehead as he let out a whimper. Made my heart broke, but what I will do, it will save him.
A last deep breath and walked toward the pantry. Inside, a dim light felt mostly on the meal. He was chained from the ceiling as his eyes were wide open but unable to move or speak. I lean from the door as I shut it down. Inside a stalling smell of dry blood and rotten flesh persisted.
I just stared at Yves as he took town his jacket and pulled out his sleeves up from his shirt. He started to walk in a circle touching the guy with his finger as he pulls down all his cloths letting him nude making me grimace while I slide down on my share.
Yves smiled and hummed, as his nails digs in his skin letting red marks. They guy tries to move, but his body didn't moved an inch, only a muffed noise came from him.
"Hmm, I like my meat tender."
Yves told him as he licked his lips with is tongue which as it came out had a greenish color, resembling a fresh root from a three.
Long, thick and deadly. Suddenly Yves tongue splits in four parts each with thorns like on a rose. A dark liquid and with a foul smell covered the scent from the room, reminding me of a swamp where a body was rotting.
Was a type of venom which was liquefying.
"Ready?"
I nodded as he winked at me while the guy muffed noises became more erractic as Yves from distance licked his body making his flesh to bleed and pulling his meat of his body in small pieces.
Slow and painful, Yves liked to kill his prey, savoring each moment as he watched in their terrifying eyes. Blood started to pour on the floor making me drool while Yves carved him with his tongue.
It was a wild sight as blood splashed all over and my venom effect was fading away, his shouts vibrated in my core. I brought my knees to my chest and lean my head on them watching the show, immune already.
"Eat!"
Yves said, as he approached me with a big piece of red meat filled with veins and blood. Few drops felt on my face, making that place jolting. I raised my head up waiting the meat to be placed on my tongue.
A state of nausea took over me as the hard meat went down my throat only suddenly to start gasping for air. Yves kneeled near me patting my back hard. I started to cough trying to release my breathing areas. Slowly; with a hard breath, felt that the piece went through.
Yves tongue retracted as he licked his bottom lip from blood and caressing my back he chuckles.
"It's like the first few times deep throating you learn fast when they release to suck them deep into your throat or pull back till just the head is left in your mouth an put the back side if your tongue over the end to control the flow " ...
I stared at him feeling my face heating up as he continued teasing me with this. "Someday you will know because I told you how..." He felt on his back laughing hard at the feet of the guy which was gasping in pain and his body moved like when a chicken head was cut off.
Yves open his mouth as the blood dripped on his cavity.
"Maybe I should rip his head off," I said suddenly as my face twitched and I stood up walking toward him. I reached toward his face and with full force, I squeezed it as my nails penetrated his skull.
"Hmm, you're to kind Nat..." Yves saif as he sat in his elbows and pulling flesh to eat.
"In which way?" I replied, narrowing my eyes as I stare at my hand filled with the warm liquids that oozed between my fingers. I was not hunger anymore.
"You can't kill them only if they piss's you off with something and you let that lamb alive..." Yves said as he smirked.
"That boy has a chance to live I won't take that from him."
With this I walked toward the door letting Yves to finish eating him. Something stopped me, as I turn with my eyes widen. Yves voice whispering a poem:
I can't live anymore with the shadow from inside me
Now mother I say goodbye
While everything is made from glass, as well as the sky
Feeble like me ready to tear down with one touch
All I want now is to be forgotten while I'm decaying
Broken for eternity as I dance in a pool of blood
I'm just a monster thirsty for blood
In present while my skin is just a shell
To hide a monster waiting for the night to fall
To feed as my mind is trapped in a spider web
The time has come that I too fade in darkness
With a bitter smile on my lips
As I will surrounded by the eternal night and cold like the world I will let behind
The spider's pall fallen as snow in a winter day
But for eternity
"Yves?" He hums while I wipe my hands from my cloths glancing at him. "What would had happen? If that creatures; that day would had completly succeed taken out our bodies?"
"We would have become real monsters." Flatly he said, as he sucked his fingers and looking like a lost child.
"Aren't we already?" I said more to me, as I looked at the room of doom I created years ago. Many died here, eaten by us to feed the creatures inside us.
"You're right Natty and I failed to protect you..." He said with a hint of regret. "Instead you saved me from that day ... I'm the monster, not you..."
Hearing that, I scoffed realizing he read my mind while he touched me many times. From my mind he knew the poem.
Mother, how can a monster like me be near your side? With that thought I flicked the light off, as Yves let the creature to take over and create a cocoon around the corpse, with this his words echoed in my mind, I'll never know how is to feel someone or love, I only kill ...
