Noah:
During lunch I sat where I normally sat, outside behind the school. I always sit here because people would rarely come here, unless it’s for something like a fight or confession. I didn’t have much of an appetite though, so I spent most of my lunch reading.
I have to admit that I am determined to finish this book, I only have about twenty pages left, and this being one of the few books that I enjoy, I want to finish it as fast as I can. The last few books that I have read had terrible endings.
Though I’m unable to picture what the characters look like, it somewhat irritates me but I choose to ignore that thought and continue to read. I set an alarm on my phone to remind myself when it is ten minutes before the bell rings, so I can get to class before it rings. I am quite far from my next class.
When my alarm finally rang, I quickly got my things and made my way there. But before I could enter the building, I noticed a small flower by the entrance. One thing that only few people know is that I am fascinated by nature, usually every time I find new flowers or things that I fail to recognise, I would collect it and study it in my room.
I picked it up, immediately knowing what it was. A taraxacum, in other words a dandelion. Which had fully grown. I know what I need to about this flower, but still took it with me, putting it in my book so I wouldn’t forget it.
The bell rang just before I got to my class, but I was still glad that I had made it there. I still had time to get my things ready. I prefer Science and Biology over most subjects, so I can say that I am looking forward to the Science lesson today. I do want to study botany in the future, but I also enjoyed learning human anatomy. My mind is made up though, no matter the circumstances, I am not going to let anything stop me from becoming a botanist.
When I heard the door close, I stopped thinking about all those thoughts. Throughout the lesson I paid all my attention to what the teacher was saying.
I want to remember every bit of the lessons for when there are exams. This lesson wasn’t too interesting as the past one’s I have had, but I can’t miss out. Not even by a second.
