"Is this Amelia Stride speaking?" A man's voice came out of the phone
"Yes Clive, you do know that nobody except me can accept this call right? I mean you even called through the Skynet." A blonde woman said as she gently caressed the face of a 11 year old child who was sleeping beside her on the couch.
"I-Err.... never mind. Let me get back on the topic, Headmaster Ice agreed to let Ray enter the school after he comes to age in two years."
Amelia chuckled as she heard the man's embarrassment through the phone.
"Ah thanks for that Clive, I suppose I owe you one this time. By the way have you prepared the ingredients?"
"I have, but is this really necessary? You can just let him go through his awakening during the ceremony you know."
"There isn't much time. Even moreso since the Reunion has already started to move in the open. This is going to be big. I feel it. He has to become strong enough to at least protect himself." She sighed as she gently took Ray into her arms and took him to his bed.
"....I still don't think it's a good choice. Fine I'll send it right now. Open your Skynet, it should be there by now."
Amelia looked at her watch as it displayed a mail icon, indicating that someone had transferred her some goods.
"Thanks again Clive."
"Don't mention it Amelia. Our Company company has already benefited from you numerous times. Just pay before the next full moon comes up.
"Will do and goodnight."
"Good night to you too."
A beep echoed around the room, indicating the end of the call. Amelia shook her head ruefully as she stood next to the kid.
"It's time for your awakening kiddo, just hang in there and sleep tight. Mama will take care of everything."
Quietly taking about all the ingredients , she kept them in a unique formation.
'Let's hope this works' Amelia murmured under her breath as she started chanting.
After 5 hours of continuous chanting, a green light suddenly emerged from his body and enveloped him.
It was the wind element.
"Just like me huh? You really are such a precious child Ray. I wish that Mathew could see you right now....from below."
Tears inexplicably came out of her eyes as she thought of how three years ago, the assembly declared her husband dead.
He was the kingdom of Trinity's armor and yet he died so suddenly. It hit her after his ceremony, but she finally realized how fragile they actually were in face of other powerful beings from below.
They all had become lax after defeating them 400 years ago, but a single entity that escaped from Grisslin five years ago had stolen the 'Barrier amulet' and caused endless mayhem in Trinity.
The demons and monsters that had waited for a chance finally struck and chaos ensued.
Two years after the situation finally settled, the Gods from the assembly made Mathew Stride and Rose Evergarden the head of the strike team going after the position of the amulet was revealed suddenly.
Unfortunately they failed with Rose going AWOL and Mathew dying and the mysterious entity getting away.
Even Uncle Keith had died due to the demons and monster attacks.
She stroked his hair as she picked up and carried him slowly to his room. After tucking him in his bed her watch suddenly vibrated. A mail icon flashed brightly as if to signify it's importance. Tapping on the icon a envelope shimmered in front of her. Even though it looked like a normal envelope it had two distinguishing features.
It was literally glowing and,
It had the seal of the Assembly.
She crushed the envelope after reading the letter as her body trembled in anger.
"Why can't they leave me alone DAMMIT!!!!!"
