~~Chapter Twelve~~

Before we get into chapter twelve I just wanted to point out that an Alphess is the female version of an alpha. I’m very sorry that it confused some of you but I wanted to put my own spin into my story since most werewolf stories have the same theme. I just wanted to make mine a little different.

~~Sunny’s POV~~

After I was done eating Adrian gave me a tour of the house. Honestly, I don’t think you can call this a pack house. It was more like a pack mansion.

It took him about 20 minutes just to show me the first floor which had, two living rooms, a huge kitchen, two different dining rooms (One for regular dinners and the other for pack dinners), there were two libraries (that looked like they came right out of Beauty and the Beast), there were three bathrooms just on this floor, and lets not forget about the pool! The pool might be my favorite room! I absolutely love water! I haven’t truly gotten to enjoy a good swim since before…Marcus.

“Um…Adrian?” I asked timidly. I still really wasn’t sure about him but, I was beginning to trust him a little bit more.

“Mhmm?” He said slowing down his pace.

“Once you’re done showing me the house can we go swimming?” I couldn’t meet his eyes. I was afraid his reaction would be bad.

“Of course! You don’t even need to ask Sunny. You can do whatever you want, within reason, of course.” He said his face lighting up.

“W-will you join me, please?” I wasn’t sure if I could swim properly anymore since I haven’t swam as a human in so many years.

“I thought you’d never ask.” He said a soft smile on his face.

“How long do you think it will take for Jake to come back?” I asked, hesitantly looking into his eyes.

“I think he’ll be back very soon. As long as you keep eating and start gaining your health back.” He said. I soft smile formed on my lips.

Maybe having a mate won’t be so bad.
