Halloween is a time when the veil is thin. The Spirit world and the physical world become interconnected.
Regarded as the DEATH of the season as Nature shifts into WINTER. The garden dies or falls into a Slumber until being re-awakened/reborn next season.
Historically Christianity would call this "devils day" as many today still regard it as a time for darkness and mischief. Much of today's knowledge is based off these old fears, while it has much more logical ties to the nature's observable energies.
In Magnolia moon's practice, its much closer to the heart of childhood:
A time to dress up, have fun and flow with the spirits ability to become ANYTHING, while celebrating the life and form we currently are.
We give thanks for our world, and our friends and family and the love that guided us this far, and pray for the future to be guarded by our love and care to continue to protect its delicate balance.
Like in this picture it can be used as a time to cleanse out the old energies no longer serving us, and making peace with our spirit.
