*REAL-WORLD*

Lily woke with a start in a cold sweat. She leaped out of her bed and opened her door. “GUYS WE GOTTA GO! COLE, MAX, AND JAMES ARE COMING!”

“AH!” Ark jumped backward and landed on the ceiling holding on to it like a cat. “JESUS! Lily, you scared me half to death.” He complained, getting off the ceiling cautiously.

“What did you say about Max, James, and Cole?” Kaito asked.

“Cole, Max, and James are on their way here. I don't know how they found……. SHIT! THAT BULLET WAS A TRACKER BULLET!” Lily pulled out a bullet from her pocket. Sure enough, it was blinking red, signifying that they were indeed being tracked.

“Wait, I thought May was hiding us from being tracked!” Rin said as Nora ran around picking up supplies.

“She can only hide us for so long. Even spirits have limited abilities.” Kaito responded. Rin finished packing up with the help of Lily. Once they had their bags packed, Lily kicked the back door open.

“Come on! They're almost here!” She shouted over the howling wind as the down of hellhounds came closer to the house.

Ark rushed out the door and felt around his neck realizing that the necklace was gone and started to go back in.

“ARK! COME ON!” Rin shouted, pulling Ark back in the direction that they were heading.

Ark looked at Rin the look in his eye full of sadness and begging her to let go. “Rin that necklace has one of the few people who know what really happened all those years ago.”

“Ark! It's in my bag!” Lily shouted from the front. “I grabbed it from the bedroom I was in. Now, we have to go, NOW! Unless you want to be captured by Max, James, and Cole again.”

“Okay, but why’d you guys take it off me?”

“We took it off so it wouldn't contaminate your wounds. Also, I had to fix the string on it.

“How would it contaminate my wounds?”

“Because it’s not sterilized! NOW LET’S GO!”

“Lily give it to me,” Ark told Lily.

“I'll give it to you once we're safe! Oh, by the way, DUCK!” Lily ducked under a low hanging branch that had appeared out of nowhere.

Ark ducked under it then looked right back at Lilith his eyes changing purple color no-one there had seen them turn before. “Lilith please just give me the amulet,” Ark asked.

“I’M NOT DIGGING INTO MY BAG RIGHT NOW! DUCK AGAIN!” Lily said as a volley of bullets fired in the distance, followed by a volley of arrows.

Ark summoned his katana and blocked some of the arrows dodging the bullets. “Fine. Then at least let me?” Ark asked. Ark put out his hand and some of the mist swirled around his hand.

“OH HELL NO!” Lily said as she slid under a large fallen trunk. Rin slid under the trunk as well, not a moment too soon at that. When Rin came up on the other side, the trunk exploded into a million fiery splinters. The group kept running even as the dangerous burning projectiles rained down from above.

“I need the amulet. You guys didn’t even have the right to take it from me! You take off the last thing I have from my life before it was ruined! ” Ark shouted still running and much to everyone’s surprise when he shouted the last few words his appearance switched from Ark to the half-demon from before. “So give it back,” Hiro said, his green and blue eyes shone in the sunlight.

“Wait.” Hiro looked down and around. “I’m… back?” He muttered, “Umm why are we running?” He asked looking over at Lilith.

Lily looked at this newcomer in shock but kept running. “Well, we’re being hunted by a psychotic king and his two demonic besties.” She said before sliding down a hill. “Come on! This place will hide us!” The group landed onto a black sandy beach. Once the entire group had made it, Lily used her Shroud ability to hide them from sight.

~Meanwhile~

James growled and cursed to himself. “How?! They just vanished?!”

“Relax, brother. They can't hide for long~.” Max reassured his brother while he placed a hand onto his shoulder

“No, they are still here,” Cole said. “I know Lily's abilities well. That traitor is hiding herself along with the rest of those scumbags.” He frowned, then hollered to his men. “FAN OUT, THEY’RE AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE!”

“YES, SIR!” Both of the males said.

Max turned his attention to his demonic legion. YOU HEARD THE KING, FAN OUT, YOU DEMONS!” With that command, the demons went on a wild chase to try and find the fugitives.

Lily kept everyone hidden as they dashed to the empty cave. “She’s just up ahead! We’ll be safe there!”

“She? Who’s she?” Hiro shouted at Lilith as she ran deeper into the cave. “Well Ark, you’ve got some girlfriend,” Hiro muttered before chasing after them.

Lily gasped and began to glow for a second. She then shifted into a female demon with blood red hair, red horns, black and red tails, bleeding eyes, a navy blue skin. “Please, don't say that when you’re like this. It feels unnatural.” Sakura said with a deep sigh. “And the person Lily is talking about is a female by the name of Atichime. She just happens to be the reincarnation of Tyler, for some reason. Yes, he got reincarnated as a female, don’t ask.”

“Yeah, well, it's been forever since I’ve seen my big bro, so this should be fun,” Ruby said, coming up to the two from behind. “Gods, it's been forever since I've had a good run!”

“Wait, I’m Alive?” Flame said looking at the others. “I thought I was dead.”

“You are,” Hiro replied. “We’re technically dead but we’re inhabiting the bodies of our reincarnations,” Hiro explained.

“Yeah, too bad that we're not our original sizes,” Sakura said, disappointed slightly.

“You’re telling me? I’m 2 feet shorter than normal!” Hiro complained,

“Look even Ruby is taller than me!” Hiro said standing next to Ruby.

Ruby laughed softly. “Well, that's what happens when we decide to take over the hosts of our souls.” She said with a shrug.

“Ok, I didn’t even do it on purpose, this time it was an accident,” Hiro responded.

“Wait, there was another time? Where was I when this happened? What year is it?” Flame asked, mystified.

“Ummm about 1000 after your death maybe closer to 850,” Hiro told him.

Ruby giggled softly. “You know, I always loved t when you’d explain something. I miss this, truly.

“Yeah it’s too bad the world doesn’t need us anymore,” Hiro said somberly and looked blankly at the ground.

“Yeah, but the next generation looks pretty promising. Hey, where’s Peter?”

“Yeah….. About that……. He's….. Kinda the one whose chasing us at the moment…..” Sakura said, biting her lip.

“So, corrupt Peter is back…… Greaaaat. Gods know we don't need to revisit thaaat timeline.” Ruby said, rolling the eyes as the cave entrance came into view.

“Truth,” Sakura replied.

“I’ve seen many timelines but that one I have not,” Hiro responded very surprised to hear of it.

“You wouldn't know this timeline partially because you guys don't exist,” Ruby explained.

“It's hard to describe this timeline, but basically Peter gets to see the GA line as well as the A2 line. It's too much for his mental state to handle, so he snaps and goes insane. Me and Sakura are forced to fix this, by either having him destroy the entire timeline, or kill Peter, so……” Sakura choked up.

“We had to kill him, or we’d risk the safety of our entire existence. The Guardians forced us to do this.” Ruby finished. “Had we not eliminated the psycho, or nobody would exist. This SERIES wouldn't even exist!”

“But we’re in the G.A. line Well Flame’s dead in it, but, oh wait is this a different one?” Hiro said. “That is true but something feels off,” Hiro replied.

“Guys, why did we just break the fourth wall?” Flame asked.

“STOP BREAKING ZE FOURTH VALL ZATS MEIN ZHING!” Hiro shouted his accent suddenly changing to a heavy german one.

“NEVER!” Ruby shouted back.

“WHAT ABOUT BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL?!” Tyler burst out of the cave.

“TYLERRRRRRR!” Ruby cried, hugging her eldest brother.

“And Tyler’s here!” Hiro said.

“AYYYYY I DUNNO WHY I WAS REINCARNATED AS A GIRL, BUT HIIIIIIII!”

“Still as loud as ever,” Hiro responded clamping his hands over his ears.

“Eh, Ruby’s louder.” Tyler shrugged.

“You right,” Ruby said, laughing softly.

“Okay, so. Tyler why’re we running this way?” Hiro asked

“Because I’m able to hide all of our presences from Co- erm, Peter,” Tyler said. “At least, Atichime can.”

“Ooooooh I get it.” He responded.

‘Yup! Now, come in!” Tyler hurried the others in and closed off the cave. “Oh, we should probably let our hosts speak now.” He shifted back into Atichime. Ruby and Sakura changed back into Rin and Lily.

“Yeah true,” Hiro said, his horn fading away and being replaced by two fox ears.

“And I’m back,” Ark said looking around and seeing the turquoise dragon person. “Wait a second. Where’s Kaito?” Ark asked.

“Umm, I’m stuck. I can’t switch back.” Flame said attempting to go back to Kaitos form, since he failed he stuck his hand out and said, “Well, since I can’t so, hello I’m Flame Wolven, Prince of Kymtar, nice to meet you.”

“Uh likewise,” Ark said back awkwardly shaking his hand.

“Hello, Prince Flame. It is nice to meet you.” Atichime said, her smile was warm and welcoming.

“Yeah, same, but please, call me Flame.” He said smiling back. “I don't know any of your names, so enlighten me, please.

“Forgive me. I am Atichime, keeper of Eden.”
