Chapter Two
She was woken up by the sound of growling. Shit! She thought to herself. Now you really messed up!
“What are you doing in the Clear Water Pack’s territory you, filthy rogue?” The wolf asked her. He was a little smaller than her and was a silver-gray color. His eyes almost appeared to glow from the moon’s reflection in the darkness.
“I don’t want any trouble. I didn’t even know I was on anyone’s territory.” She said trying to explain to him why she was there. She was really nervous talking to him. She hadn’t talked to any of her kind in over eight years. She had no idea who the main packs were anymore. She just wanted to live her sad lonely life and die when she was ready.
“Yeah I’m sure! Like I’ve never heard that one before!” He growled at her again before lunging towards her.
“Please stop! I don’t want to fight anyone. I’ll just leave, and you’ll never see me again, I swear!” She pleaded hoping he would believe her. He didn’t. He continued his onslaught until he finally landed a blow on her shoulder causing her to fall to the ground. She tried to force herself to get up, but it was hard. She was already weak from not eating enough and now she had to fight.
She bared her teeth trying to intimidate him, but it didn’t help at all. He only laughed at her feeble attempt. He lunged again hitting her in she side, tearing her hide causing a red waterfall to flow.
At this point she couldn’t even stand anymore. She still tried though. She refused to die like a coward!
“I won’t die without trying first!” She said forcing herself to stand up.
“Why won’t you just die! You shouldn’t even be able to stand!” He said with disbelief.
She leapt towards him in a desperate attempt to injure him. Hell, she just wanted to get away but with the way her leg was acting that was off the table. She sadly missed her target, but he didn’t miss her. He threw his clawed paw that was already crimson with her blood towards her other leg, striking yet another wound onto her body.
Then all of a sudden, a new voice joined the scene.
“Donavin! What the hell do you think your doing?!” The other wolf yelled. She couldn’t even make out the figure of his body anymore. Her vision was going all blurry and she could barely even stand upright. The blood loss was messing with her. She heard the other wolf talking to the gray wolf but couldn’t make out what he was saying.
She was trying her best to stay conscious, but it didn’t help in the long run. Not even two minutes later she collapsed.
