It was late at dawn. Hannah was driving by the frozen lake near her job when she heard a scream. She stopped her car. She was scared, but looked anyway. No one was there. Hannah went back to the car when she heard a scream again. Hannah searched everywhere until she saw a figure collapsed by the lake. Then she screamed.
‘Don’t move! I will call for help.’
In her frantic search her phone fell on the snow. Another scream startled her. The body was slowly sinking in to the frozen water. Hannah ran. There was no time to waste. She was getting closer. She could recognize the shape of a man; grabbing him by the hands in the last minute. He was too heavy for her.
‘Sir!’ She called ‘Sir, we need to get you out. Please move.’
The man shook his head looking into the woman’s eyes. He had long yellow pointy teeth and bright red eyes. She froze in fear as he grabbed her with his icy fingers.
‘Innocent little dove that let yourself be fooled’, he laughed, and he pulled her down.
Hannah drowned and could do nothing about it. Her arms did not respond. Her lungs were on fire. She gasped for breath and choked increasing the pain she suffered.
The creature laughs kept resonating in her ears as thousands of corpses welcomed her into her icy tomb.
