"You have arrived at Grande de Masé, codename 69, Coral Lines's location and your destination. The people are still lining up in the event centre before the cruise party starts up. You have an hour to get into position before the sail. From this point on, luck is not an option."
Fixing the cuffs on his jet black tuxedo, Rouge stared up and began to walk towards the heavily beaming lights that danced through the night sky, while music pulsated wildly against the air.
A small smile crept his lips. The party was on.
Rouge walked from the darkened area towards the stone pave leading to the massive gate of a walloping building. Security guards dressed in white and gold linings stood by the gateway, poking into a golden envelope that the incoming guests showed. Rouge drew his own invitation and one of the guards nodded in expression.
His hidden earphone buzzed. "Like reported, the guards are securing every guest before they get into the perimeter. Your equipment is stashed in the number 1437 locker in the basement. I repeat, number 1437 at the basement, Agent 47's locker. 47 is currently undercovering as a waiter for the cruise."
Jane chuckled in satisfaction.
"Side skills really do work out."
Immediately, Rouge hastened his pace than the rhythmic crowd. Leading up a flight of stairs, guards held the colossal doors open while the attendants stood closer to the path, welcoming and greeting their beloved guests.
"Have a wonderful night, sir," the left attendant uttered to Rouge when he walked towards his side.
Rouge slightly nodded before he moved into the grand hall.
The whole place shone in a mysterious amber, beaming with crystals and glitters. Almost fairytale like if it wasn't for the fact that a person was lingering inside planning to kill someone.
People started crowding to Rouge's left and right as soon as he stepped right in. He glanced at his current surroundings as he walked. Extravaganza screamed at each corner. There was an immense, sprawling chandelier dangling six to seven stories above them. He kept his eyes all over the place, not because of awe, but because he was studying the whole nooks and cranny which could be useful for his objective. And for future reference, if ever.
Everything twinkled and flashed, as if glitters were sparking in the air. Women wore flashy gowns, colours in different elegancy, while men wore ravishing suits and tuxedos.
Everyone turned and murmured. Rouge paused, turning his own head at the spotlight flashing over the staircase. A black haired man wearing a white-coloured tuxedo marched down to the ground level. The guests clapped at his entrance.
His guards met him below, and he began greeting some of the people.
"That's him, 69. Raul Archambeau, your target of the night. Keep it stealthy."
Raul headed the opposite way as Rouge, and attentions were darted towards the impressive man.
But now is not the time admiring an arm and a leg, Rouge needed to find the locker room.
