Sean tapped his temple with his pencil as he looked at a difficult Algebra problem. "Having problems Mr. Kers?" Mr. White asks making Sean jump slightly. "Yes, sir..." Sean mutters looking a little embarrassed. "No need to be embarrassed. We can just get another student to tutor you if you would like." Mr. White says kindly. "Um... I guess I could try that..." Sean mutters. "Alright, we have a highly intelligent student that would probably be willing to help you." Mr. White says. "What's their name?" Sean asks. "Evan Hunt. He's a psychology student but, he's excellent at Algebra." Mr. White says. "Evan Hunt?" Sean asks sounding surprised and worried. "Don't be too surprised. Anyways he's a considerate person I'm sure you'll get along just fine." Mr. White says. "It's not that it's just... doesn't he beat people up a lot?" Sean asks. "Yes Mr. Hunt is a bit brash and aggressive... but, he still enjoys helping students when they need it." Mr. White says. "If you says so..." Sean mutters still uneasy. "Now just try your best and I'll take to Evan after his first-class gets out." Mr. White says.
After class...
"Mr. Hunt will be here soon." Mr. White says without looking up from his laptop. "Yes, sir," Sean says as he fidgets in his seat anxiously. The door opens and a man with black and blue-dyed hair and a brace on his right arm walks in. "Hello, Professor. Sorry, I'm late. Night courses can confuse the mind." Evan says politely as he glances at Sean his eyes flashing gold for a second before turning dark blue. "It's fine Evan." Mr. White says. Evan's eyes flick back to Sean studying him for a second before he looks back at Mr. White. "Well, I better go home you two should go to one of your dorms to study." Mr. White says as he gathers his things. "Need any help, Professor?" Evan asks as he walks to Mr. White's desk. "No, you need to let that armrest." Mr. White says as he grabs his things. "Goodnight Professor," Evan says as Mr. White walks out.
At Sean's dorm...
"So what's got you confused?" Evan asks as he looks over Sean's shoulder at his homework. "Well, I guess all of the missing number or letter equations," Sean says blushing slightly. "No need to be embarrassed Algebra is a famously difficult subject. I find it easier to figure problems like that out if I make up my little way to do it." Evan says as reassuringly. "But that's not what we were taught to do..." Sean mutters. "Well. I'll try to explain it."
Hours later...
"Damn! It's almost Midnight!" Evan says as he checks his watch. "Well, I guess we'll continue this lesson tomorrow," Evan says as he begins packing his bag. "Oh..." Sean says sounding upset. "What's wrong?" Evan asks as he stops and looks over his shoulder at Sean. "I just liked talking to you... everyone else makes you out to seem like some sort of criminal but... you're a pleasant person to talk to..." Sean mutters averting Evan's gaze. "What if I gave you my number? You could call me if you ever wanted to talk about things not school-related." Evan says with a smile. "Yeah. Here you can just type it in." Sean says as he unlocks his phone then hands it to Evan who types his number in quickly before handing it back. "What if we met up off-campus during the weekends?" Evan says as an afterthought. "That sounds nice..."
The next day...
Sean jumps as someone knocks on the door. "Relax it's just the mailman." Theo a boy with acid green-dyed hair and emerald green eyes says as he opens the door and gets the mail. "I was thinking!" Sean shouts. "Oh? Mister popular has a letter!" Theo snickers as he hands Sean the letter. "A letter? That's pretty formal..." Sean snickers as he opens it and reads out loud.
"Beloved, Sean Kers,
I need to confess something to you. Ever since I met you, I can only think of your radiant, green eyes. You filled my heart with unexpected joy and my head with amazing dreams of us together. My love can only grow more and more each day.
I dream of us dancing and from time to time I would gently stroke your black hair while you keep smiling. In moments like these, my life would simply be complete.
When I’m alone in the quiet, it always feels like I can hear your voice, whispering to me sweet nothings, just like the blessed music of a guitar. I wanted to tell you this from a long time ago, you are as essential to me as is life itself.
My Beloved, please be sure I mean everything this love letter carries to you with all my heart. Once I saw your lovely, perfect body I knew there won’t be anything more precious to me in this whole world. I want to take you away from the ordinary, away from any upset or misfortune and we shall go together to wherever you please.
You are the best I ever had and I must be the luckiest person to have you in my life. You are my everything. I’d give up all the food in the world to know that you will be right there beside me for the rest of our lives.
My heart skips a beat at the thought that soon I will bring you white roses to show you once more how dedicated I am to you, for all eternity.
Yours always and forever,
Your secret admirer."
Sean finished the letter with his blush spreading from the tips of his ears to the tip of his nose. "Wow..." Theo says shocked as he sits beside Sean almost checking to see if Sean was lying. "Who would feel things like that for me?" Sean whimpers as he stares awe-struck at the letter. "Someone's got it bad for you. And! By the context of this letter I'm betting it's a dude." Theo says as he examines the letter. "W-well who?" Sean asks his face still burning. "Beats me. But! With a bit of detective work, I'll bet we can figure it out!" Theo says. "Yeah, anyways I have class soon see you later," Sean says.
Saturday...
"Hey!" Evan says happily as he meets Sean outside of the main college building. "Hey, Evan," Sean says with a smile as he looks up into Evan's blue eyes. "Where should we go?" Evan asks as he looks around. "Hm... how about we go to a restaurant? I'm starving!" Sean says with a playful grin. "Damn! Now I'm hungry!" Evan says as he gives Sean a light push. "Hey!" Sean says as he pushes Evan with all his might. "You're too small for that," Evan smirks. "Well well well. I see you're hanging around with my boyfriend." a cold female's voice sounds from behind Sean making the two stop laughing immediately. "What?" Evan asks confused. "Hello handsome." a platinum blonde girl with icy blue eyes and way too much makeup says as she rests her hand on Evan's broad, muscular chest. "Wait... when?" Evan asks looking confused. "Since I decided you were too cute to not be mine," she says as she bites her cherry red lip. "Brittany? I already have my eye on someone." Evan says. "What!? Who!?" Brittany shouts sounding furious. "Not telling you," Evan says as he crosses his arms. "Fine but I swear you will belong to me!" Brittany shouts before she storms off. "Well? Would you still like to go out...?"
