Welcome to the first episode of Wu Xing! We're very excited to finally be able to begin posting a series that's been in the works for years and years. We started drawing the comic back in February 2019 with the goal to begin this series by the end of the year. We've finally achieved a New Years Resolution! WOW!
We hope you liked the first episode and hope you return next month for the next installment. If you want weekly updates, you can always read one page per week on the Wu Xing website. And if you're feeling extra generous, please consider supporting us on Patreon for as little as $1 per month! You'll get pages early and if you pledge during September or October and supply a mailing address, you'll get a special Wu Xing launch celebration package!
No matter what you decide to do, thank you so much for reading!
Your introduction? Absolutely beautiful. Your art style? Wonderful. The motifs? Extraordinary. My only lament is that Tapas' new site structure makes it rather zoomed in for me, and therefore harder to digest the beginning. Still, Cori, this is absolutely lovely. I cannot wait to read the story ahead.
A boy named Fawei discovers that the world as he knows it is not what it seems. When a sword-wielding stranger arrives and disrupts the tranquility of his village, Fawei is forced to confront his own destiny. In the face of overwhelming adversity, Fawei must travel across vast distances in search of those who, like him, have the power to bring harmony and balance to both Heaven and Earth.

Releases on Tapas will contain multiple pages that are released simultaneously and in a long scroll format so episodes are longer and more fun to scroll through! If you'd like to read each page as it is released, check out the series website by clicking on the series banner. The main website will update weekly every Tuesday!
And if you want to see pages a couple of weeks before anyone else, consider becoming a patron of CorissaBees on Patreon for as little as $1 per month! Patrons see pages two to three weeks in advance, updating every week on Monday.
