WARNING: CUSS WORDS (like two... but still)
Axle chatted with his friends as lunch went by, Axle happened to glance at his arm and saw words were etching their way across his skin. He dropped his fork in surprise, Bea looked at him confused,
"What is it Axe?"
Axle showed his arm to his friends, they both gasped and Bea took ahold of Axle's arm,
"Look at that kid, write back! Write back!"
I pulled a pen out of my backpack the message was in multiple colors,
Hey, how are you doing? -N
He signed with an N,
I'm okay, how are you? - A
Good so we're soulmates huh -N
Yep -A
Sounds cool but we'll have to talk later, I've got class in a little. -N
Okay, bye -A
Soon enough the messages faded away and Axle was left with his bare arm once again. Bea squealed and hugged me,
"Look's like you've got yourself a soulmate kid!"
Axle smiled at his arm,
"Yeah. Wonder what they're like?"
Cody scoffed, he had already met his soulmate in person and was dating them. He was one of the lucky ones. Soulmates usually spoke the same language but there have been several cases where two soulmates speak different languages. There have even been a couple of cases where three people are soulmates. Axle couldn't help smiling to himself, he jumped as someone rested their arms on Axle's shoulders. Axle looked up and saw Nick smiling down at him,
"Sup buddy, you get all your make up work?"
Axle nodded smiling back at him, he happened to get a glance of his friend's faces. Both of their jaws were hanging open,
"Oh sorry guys, this is Nick. Nick my friends Cody and Bea."
Nick stuck his hand out and Cody shook it, his mouth still hanging open. Bea stood up and glared at Nick,
"You listen here, you hurt our little Axe, and I will destroy you."
Axle's cheeks flushed,
"Bea! Just what do you think our relationship is?"
"Um... dating?"
Axle's face slammed into the table, pulling Nick with him since his arms were still connected to Axle's shoulders. All Axle could hear was Nick asking if he was alright as Bea laughed manically, he was sure she was drawing attention to their table. Axle felt a couple of thumps and looked up seeing two girls had sat at the table. Nick was sitting on the other side of him and waved in front of his face,
"Are you okay? Those are my two friends, Piper and Parker."
Axle shook both the girls' hands while he saw Bea drooling over Parker. Axle knew Bea was bisexual and Bea knew that Axle was pansexual, Cody, of course, knew both of these facts too. Axle flicked Bea on the forehead and mouthed 'you're so obvious'. Bea huffed irritated. Cody bellowed and patted Bea's back,
"So obvious."
Bea grabbed Cody in a headlock and ruffled his hair, Axle laughed as Cody begged for forgiveness. Axle felt someone tap his shoulder and turned to see Sean, Jackson, and Sabrina. Axle felt his face pull into a glare,
"What do you need."
For once none of them were glaring at Axle which made him on edge.
"We're here to say sorry, we saw what you did on the news. We shouldn't have messed with you."
Axle felt anger boiling inside him but before he could yell Nick stood up and started shouting,
"MESSED WITH HIM!? YOU BEAT THE ABSOLUTE SHIT OUT OF HIM! AND YOU STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE NEWS!? YOU KNEW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE DOING AND YOU KNOW IT WAS WRONG!"
Axle jumped up and got between Nick and Sean,
"Hey, hey calm down. I'm all right aren't I?"
Nick growled still staring daggers at Sean and his group. People were staring at them so Axle turned around to face Sean,
"Listen okay? I don't care if you apologize now. You've helped make my life absolute hell for almost a year now. The fact you're apologizing because of the bus is sad. Your sorry doesn't mean anything... now that this has all been cleared up, leave me alone."
Sean nodded looking upset. Axle turned back to Nick who was still glaring at Sean as he walked away,
"Nick, you NEED to calm down... please?"
Nick looked at me and sighed heavily,
"Why, you said they've been doing this for almost a year?"
Axle whispered,
"Yeah but I've been dealing with worse since middle school, okay?"
Nick looked shocked and asked in a quiet voice,
"Since middle school?"
