WARNING: VIOLENCE/HOMOPHOBIC SLURS
Axle took his binder out of his locker and replaced it with his lunchbox, he was tired of being social today. Axle went through his afternoon classes in a flash, before he knew it he walked to the bus stop, not a school bus stop. A public bus stop, Axle couldn't trust he'd always be to the bus on time due to the bully situation. Axle usually had to wait for the 3:30 bus ride so he usually chilled at the school until it was close time to leave. It was Thursday and Axle had a bad feeling in his gut. As Axle turned the corner of the school he was yanked into a blind spot for the teachers. And before you think, "just avoid the blind spots", they're everywhere. Axle was shoved into the wall, Axle groaned and took off his backpack so he wouldn't damage it anymore. Axle looked up to see the three seniors who helped make his life a living nightmare. Sean a tall football jock, Jackson a lackey of Sean, and Sabrina as bad luck to anyone. Axle just laid against the wall, he didn't ever do anything in a fight. Sean stomped up to him,
"What's up faggot."
"East"
Sean snarled,
"Sarcastic Axle today huh?"
Axle shrugged, the one thing Axle always tried to do was mask his feelings. If he showed any type of emotion, the beating was ten times worse.
"Just get on with it, I want to go home."
Sean and Jackson chuckled while Sabrina talks,
"Aww, but why would we do that when we've got a boy toy to play with."
Axle just sighed and put his hand's behind his head, closing his eyes.
"I'm just bored."
Sean grabbed Axle's collar and savagely pulled him to his feet,
"OH MISTER I'M BORED, MORE LIKE FAGGOT BOY. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO LIVE ON THIS EARTH, NO ONE LIKES YOU. YOU'RE THE EXACT DEFINITION OF SADNESS, WHY DID YOUR PARENTS EVEN HAVE YOU?"
Axle almost laughed,
"Man I wish I knew."
Axle could feel his brain shut down, whenever they got in their insulting moods, Axle felt it was best to tune them out to at least keep his mental stability. The only time Axle ever showed emotion was with his friends, or at a sleepover. Cole and Bea don't know about the bullies or his family's beatings. Axle could still hear shouting and words from time to time, but otherwise, he just stared aimlessly into the face of whoever insulted him... at least until the beatings began,
"STUPID... WORTHLESS... NO ONE... DUMB... WHY... TRASH!"
Axle came back to reality when Sabrina punched him. A throbbing pain
erupted in Axle's cheek. And that's when the real beating began, all three of them began to whale on him, Axle could feel his body begin to go numb until shouting erupted that wasn't Sean's, Sabrina's, or Jackson's.
"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!"
Another voice also spoke,
"GET OFF HIM!"
The beating stopped and all three seniors bolted from the scene. Axle could hear people running up to him as tried to sit up but an ache rolled over his body making him wince, he felt warm arms lift him to his feet. Axle couldn't stand, he managed to glance at who came to his rescue. He saw a tall brown-haired guy and was accompanied by Mr. Sooza, propping him up while he talked frantically to Mr. Sooza.
"Teach this kid can't even stand, talk about punishment later, I'll take him to the nurse, okay?"
The brown-haired kid pulled Axle's arm over his shoulder, even though Axle was a few inches shorter than him. Axle tried to speak but only a groan left his mouth as his head drooped a little. He tried again and his voice came out hoarse
"Thanks you two, that was one of the bad ones"
Axle mentally cursed himself as Mr. Sooza asked a simple question,
"One?"
