I unlocked the door to my apartment and heard something weird. Both the cats didn’t even come to greet me. I sat the groceries on the counter and went to find Seth.
“No! Mom please don’t do this! I swear I’ll never like a guy again. Please don’t leave me!” I heard Seth yell from his room. I ran to his room and opened the door only to see his small body in a ball on the floor crying. He wasn’t awake though.
“Hey, Seth you are safe here.” I said and picked him up and put him on my lap. I just kind of wiped the tears away and tried to comfort him without waking him up. He was drenched in sweat and kept mumbling. He was really worrying me. He just seemed so fragile even when I first saw him in the lobby.
He was only probably 5’6 and that was being generous. He had a soft face with blonde hair that was way to long. I didn’t even see his eyes until he fell and he had the bluest eyes I’d ever seen. He was so frightened when I touched him and my heart nearly broke in two.
He calmed down about ten minutes later and I was glad that the nightmare ended. My eyes started to get heavy, so I laid down on his bed. Of course Seth was beside me sleeping soundly and soon I fell asleep also. I held him close so that he would safe.
