WARNING: TRAMA
Ben's POV
I woke up to someone talking, I opened my eyes to see it was dark outside. It was only me and Oliver in the hospital room making me wonder, where was my Dad? I looked around, still hugging Oliver, I noticed a slip of paper on a nightstand next to the bed. I picked it up and squinted my eyes to read it in the dark,
Hey Ben and Oliver,
I had to go to my friend at the police station. I'll be back by morning. Oliver will be released by tomorrow and I'll drive you guys to Oliver's house so you can get unpacked. Oliver can't go to school tomorrow the nurse said a day or two depending on how you're feeling, no extreme movements cause of the stitches. See you later.

I folded the note and set it back on the nightstand, curling back into Oliver's hug. Oliver's grip tightened around me and I heard him growl. I looked up to see he was still asleep. He started talking in his sleep,
"No, keep your hands off him! He didn't do anything..... Back off!"
Oliver was starting to crush me with how tight he was hugging me.
"Don't touch him!"
I sat up trying to wake Oliver up by shaking his shoulders.
"Don't hurt him!"
Oliver's voice cracked as he started to plead to someone not to hurt
whomever he was protecting in his dream. I started to whisper trying to wake Oliver up,
"Oliver, wake up! Ollie! Ol! Get up!"
Oliver's eyes snapped open as he sat up quickly. Oliver was breathing heavily as he looked around panicked. I grabbed his face,
"Hey, hey, it's okay. You're awake now, okay?"
Oliver looked at me,
"Ben?" he asked, his voice cracking.
I nodded,
"Yeah, it's me."
Oliver sobbed as he held on to my hands. I pulled him close as he bawled into my shoulder. I slowly laid down until he was on top of me, I ran my finger's through his hair. The braids had come out so his hair was in his eyes. I pushed stands behind his ears as he cried. I muttered trying to calm him down,
"Hey, it's okay. I got you, the dream's over."
Oliver trembled, whatever happened in that dream, didn't matter, it was my turn to comfort Oliver.
"You need to breathe Oliver,"
Oliver nodded still sobbing, he took a deep breath shakily. I started to hum and braid his hair again. I could feel Oliver slowly relax and his crying subsided. I didn't realize he had fallen asleep until I heard soft snoring coming from him. I managed to pull the blanket over us before I fell asleep as well.
