Layla has been being bullied ever since Maddison released that video of her around the school. Rachel has made Layla her personal punching bag, constantly teasing her and putting her down. Maddison feels guilty and stands up for Layla against Rachel, but only makes things worse.

Layla pushed to her limit goes to the roof of the school with the intent to jump off and kill herself. Maddison stops her, assuring Layla that she still loves her and that she would be sad if Layla did that. She makes Layla promise to never do it again and kisses her.

Scarlet walks out at that exact moment and gets heartbroken at seeing Maddison kissing Layla. She breaks up with Maddison and throws the promise ring at her and takes back her key. Maddison in shock quickly goes after Scarlet to explain everything. She breaks into Scarlet's apartment and explains everything, promising that she only did it in the heat of the moment that she really loves Scarlet. Scarlet accepts her back and they have sex before going on a date to the apple orchard. Maddison gives Scarlet back the promise ring, and Scarlet gives her back the key.

Later that night Maddison goes to check on Layla and make sure she is okay. The two finally makeup and put everything behind them, or try to as Layla does her best to seduce Maddison into loving her. Maddison eventually gives in and the two have sex.

Maddison riddled with guilt about cheating on Scarlet is scared to tell her in fear of losing her. Layla agrees to be just Maddison's friend and to never tell Scarlet what happened between them.

Scarlet finds out she has a new student in her first class who turns out to be none other than Reyna. Surprised and feeling lied to being as Reyna pretended she was much older. Scarlet struggles to keep herself in check as Reyna flirts with her and steals her number. Maddison catches them flirting and gets jealous, Scarlet lies to her and says she has no clue who Reyna is that they just met that day.

While Scarlet is masturbating alone because Maddison can't come over due to her helping Layla with something, Reyna calls Scarlet and the two have phone sex. Scarlet set's Reyna straight and tells her she is still in a relationship. She deletes Reyna's number from her phone to show how committed she is to Maddison. Maddison cannot take the guilt anymore as the Snow Ball is here, and Scarlet wants to get her alone to dance with her. Jessica catches Maddison kissing Layla and Maddison explains how crappy she feels and how Layla keeps seducing her. Layla pushes Maddison into keeping things a secret and assures her that Scarlet never has to know.

At the dance Reyna flirts with Scarlet and Maddison gets jealous, but her guilt prevents her from acting on it. During a slow dance between her and Layla, Rachel comes to bully them. Reyna comes to the rescue and puts Rachel in her place. While Scarlet was looking Layla surprises Maddison by kissing her.

Scarlet runs out of the dance and Maddison quickly chases after her. Maddison comes clean about what happened between her and Layla. Scarlet is disgusted that Maddison waited a week to tell her. Maddison begins to cry and explain how she was scared. Scarlet walks out on her. Maddison chases after her but loses her trail. Seeing Maddison in hysterics Jessica wants to know what is wrong, to which Layla tells her that Ms. A broke up with Maddison. Maddison can't deny it anymore and Jessica discovers that all the rumors about Maddison being with her teacher were true. Jessica shows Maddison she still supports her and urges Maddison not to give up. Maddison agrees and goes after Scarlet.

Reyna chases after Scarlet after seeing her run out of the dance in tears. Reyna tells Scarlet she knows about her and Maddison. Scarlet breaks down and tells Reyna about how Maddison cheated on her. She shows Reyna the promise ring she was planning on giving Maddison that night. Reyna tells Scarlet that she would never cheat on her and if Scarlet would give her a chance she promises to always love her the way she deserves to be loved. Scarlet begins to make out with her and quickly undress her. Maddison walks in on them.

Maddison pushes Reyna off of Scarlet and feels betrayed. Scarlet and Maddison get into an argument. Maddison tries to fix things between them but Scarlet says she doesn't want to get back together with her. That she thinks Maddison has some growing up to do. After giving Maddison back the promise ring that was gifted to her Scarlet goes home and cries herself to sleep.

A few days later Reyna comes over to cheer Scarlet up, Scarlet tells Reyna about how she is going to California. Reyna invites herself along and Scarlet agrees to let her come. The two agree to be just friends.

The day before Scarlet's plain is scheduled to leave Maddison breaks into Scarlet's apartment and demands another chance. The two get into an argument in which they both admit that they love each other. They have sex and Scarlet has an inner battle on whether or not she should get back with Maddison. In the morning as Scarlet is leaving for her flight she lies to Maddison and tells her that she doesn't love her that she just wanted to have sex with her. That she and Reyna and more than friends and have had sex together. She does this to hurt Maddison so that Maddison will get over her while she is gone. Then she leaves to the airport and meets Reyna there. They leave to California.
