This was a tough one, never drew any of these Pokémon before.
The next story is already in mind! Anyone curious to the theme can see it in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/MysteryDungeon/comments/bsj6rx/you_wanna_refuse_to_be_in_a_rescue_team_theres/
Stardust was painful. All of the games cover the player's disappearance and its aftermath to some degree, but you really gave it the weight it deserves. However, while it went far more in-depth than the games do on how it would feel to lose a partner, and did so very well, it was still overall familiar (though admittedly that doesn't make it any less painful).
This hurt on an entirely different level. Even though I didn't know Ime or Ayo for long, seeing everything fall apart around them after they won... To see the dawning realization, the pain and confusion on Ime's face as Ayo - the Pokémon they went on a long, grueling journey with, their *partner* - completely fails to recognize them or anything they've done together, hurt. You were able to hint at so much and put so much feeling into 13 pages.
You did amazing on both of these, and I look forward to your next comic!
Your consciousness is set in flesh you were not born in. You awake to find yourself in a world where lands migrate when you aren’t looking. For some reason losing your memory is worth the cost. You were human once, right?
How does amnesia work? How much of you is lost? How much of you is regained? Anamnesis is an anthology about de/reconstructing important elements from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. Some stories are influenced by r/mysterydungeon prompts and reader suggestion.
