Dewi steps off the plane, blissfully unaware of what has changed in the week he's been gone. He looks forward to sleeping in his own bed again. He had done such a great job that the shoot finished a whole day early, so despite his new flight being delayed, he is still home twelve hours earlier than he told his roommates.
Dewi sneaks in as it is relatively late in the evening. If any of his roommates went to bed early, he doesn't want to be the one who wakes them. The apartment is quiet. Figuring that means everyone is already asleep, Dewi decides to just use the restroom and go to bed as well.
For the record, he is more drowsy than he realizes and that is what causes what happens next. The bathroom door isn't fully closed so Dewi doesn't think anything of it as he enters, despite the light being turned on. What he finds on the other side of the door wakes him up a bit. A tall man with short black hair and indigo streaks is stepping out of the shower after wrapping a towel around himself. The man quickly notices Dewi and gets a flirtatious smirk.
“Well, hello, Hotstuff. Didn't know you were here.”
“Who are you?”
“Oh, so they haven't told you about me yet. Don't worry, I'm not anyone dangerous or anything. I'm here because of Blake. He…. um… invited me.”
“You could be lying.”
“Come on, Dewdrop, you can trust me. Sure, I know I'm not really giving very trustworthy answers, but everyone has secrets and I'm just trying to respect certain people's privacy here. There's a conversation you need to have with Blake before we can be properly introduced.”
“I don't care how much of a sweet talking hottie you are, I can't trust someone who won't even give their name.”
“Well, good to know I'm your type. Maybe I could take you out on a date sometime…” The man winks as if he had just told the sexiest inside joke. “Oh, right, about my name…. For now, you can call me…” He smiles at a thought. “Cronos. Though I would also be fine being called the man of your dreams.” Dewi is unconvinced.
“Only a name that's probably fake isn't much basis for trust….”
“Fine. I can give you some insider info on Blake that can help you get closer to him. Just, please, don't tell Luce about me being here…” This makes 'Cronos’ seem more suspicious. “Please… he always gets upset when I show up.”
“On one more condition. Tell me why Luce gets upset about you. He must have a really good reason.”
“Not to get into much detail, but he doesn't exactly get upset about me…. It's just that a lot of the times that I visit it's because Blake had a panic attack and Lucius doesn't like not being able to do anything about them.” Well, that does seem like Luce. Dewi decides to trust this 'Cronos’ guy. Something just makes him want to believe him, and it's not just because he's attractive.
“Alright, go ahead, let's hear your insider info.”
“Okay, how about three preferences. Since you're such a cutie, you can pick which of his favorites you want to know about. So, what do you want to know? Within reason, of course.” Dewi ponders for a moment before replying.
“What kind of movies does he like? What's his favorite color? And what's his favorite animal?”
“Great questions…. Let's see, first movies. A well written plot is most important but to pick a favorite type… fantasy, maybe? A favorite color might be a little easier. All colors are worth appreciation though if picking just one, it's purple, like my hair.” Cronos starts walking towards Blake's room.
“Hey, what about my last question?”
“Oh, right,” Cronos points to Blake's door. “Sorry, I have to get dressed and hide in here before Luce and Sato get back from their date.” Dewi is understandably confused. When did his roommates start dating each other? “Anyways, what was your last question? Right, Blake's favorite animal. He once had a huge anxiety attack when he was five. This pale Persian cat comforted and stayed with him until he calmed down. He's been partial to cats ever since.” Cronos quickly slips into Blake's bedroom with one last comment before closing the door. “Sweet dreams, Prince Charming.”
Oh, right, sweet dreams. Like that's the kind of dreams he's going to have now… Dewi doesn't know why he trusts that suave weirdo so much. There's just something soothingly familiar about him.
Dewi's mind spends the rest of the night trying to figure out the mystery that a tiny part of him already knows. Despite tossing and turning all night, he wakes up the next morning quite refreshed. So refreshed in fact that he wakes up much earlier than usual. The only other person up is Luce who has just started on breakfast. Watching him fluttering around the kitchen, something clicks for Dewi. Cronos gives off a similar vibe as the twins.
“Hey, Luce? Do you two have any other siblings?” Lucius doesn't seem too surprised by someone else being up.
“Oh, Dewi. I didn't know you were back. Welcome home.” He turns around long enough to flash a smile before going back to his task. “To answer your question, we have a sister but she's super younger. She was one of those surprise pregnancies you hear about where the parents thought they were too old to still have kids. Why did you want to know?”
“Oh, I thought you might have an older brother or cousin or something….”
“What would make you think tha- oh, no he didn't.” Luce seems to get quite irritated at realizing something. “The guy you met told you to not tell me, right? Let me guess; tall, dark hair, really vague about who he is. What did he tell you his name was?”
“Cronos….”
“Creative… real~ funny.” Luce stops his breakfast prep and storms over to Blake's door. His slightly raised voice is accompanied by his firm knocking on the door. “Brother, dearest, you have five minutes to let me in before I start breaking rules.”

Blake is in the middle of changing when Luce knocks on his door. When he hears what Luce threatens, he doesn't even bother putting on a shirt. He rushes to open the door for his brother. Luce walks in with purpose as soon as the door opens and Blake closes it behind him. “What's up, Luce?”
“Dewi met a guy he thinks could be related to us…. Calls himself 'Cronos’... sounds a lot like someone I know. Now, best I can figure, this encounter probably happened last night, which leads me to my question. Why didn't you call me?”
“Because it wasn't due to anything on this end.” Blake thinks back to the note he found scribbled in his journal earlier.
“What's that supposed to mean?” ‘Luce doesn't need to know that it's because-’ Nope, not going to finish that thought. It was bad enough that he chose to write such a thing down for his past self.
“Something happened in the future to cause the switch.”
“What happened? Even if I can't change it, I want to be there for you. Come on, you can tell me anything.” Yeah, that's not happening. No way I'm telling Luce the reason. Blake turns bright red. It's too embarrassing.
“It isn't really due to a negative emotion….. I… I have the right to refuse telling you anything about future events and that's what I'm doing now.” Not exactly what that rule is in place for, but Blake's glad he can use it. “Now is there anything else or was that your only concern?”
“Not really, just make sure you know what you're going to tell Dewi about who 'Cronos’ is…” Shoot, Dewi. Blake had forgotten that Dewi comes home today. What is he going to do? It will be their first time meeting since realizing that he likes Dewi. Well, hopefully he'll have some time to figure it out before actually seeing him. “Because he's on the other side of that door, waiting for me to finish breakfast.” Or not… Well, maybe I can hide in here till I figure things out. “...I know that look… don't even think of hiding. It will only make it harder. I want to see you out for breakfast within ten minutes or I'll tell Dewi you're sick and convince him to come in here to nurse you back to health.”
“You wouldn't….” Lucius starts to walk out of Blake's room but throws one last thing over his shoulder as he closed the door.
“Do you really want to risk it?” No, he doesn't. Blake finishes getting dressed and walks out.
The first thing he notices is Dewi sitting at the table with the most adorable bed head he has ever seen. Seriously, it looks like some pro stylist did it for a advertisement. Blake focuses on the amazing hair to distract himself for a few more seconds. This is why he notices that Dewi's highlights are different than before. They're still red, but slightly darker and they take up more of his hair. Maybe he redid them while on his trip?
Dewi looks his way so he can't put this off any longer. There's no way he's going to confess to his roommate out of nowhere so he has to pretend to act like normal. Crap, what is normal? How did I used to act? I don't remember. Blake rushes to think of something to say.
“Hey, Dewi. Good to see you. How was your trip?” That's a good topic, right? Wait, why did he ask that? What if his girlfriend was also on the trip? Blake doesn't want to hear about it if that's the case.
“It was great. Since the client could only book the locations for certain times, I had a lot of free time. I did a ton of sightseeing and even went clubbing a few nights.”
“Being a model, I'm sure you got hit on a lot at the clubs. Doesn't your girlfriend mind you going or did she join you?” Blake doesn't know why he said that, it just pops out before he can stop himself.
“What are you talking about? I don't have a girlfriend.” Then who the fuck is Destiny?
