When rewatching the racing scenes, I wonder if Erol was serious about Keira liking him in his taunts to Jak or if he was bluffing. The game doesn't say much about it outside of those confrontations. (unless I missed something)
Tho it wouldn't be far fetched to think Keira got attracted to somebody while there trying to rebuild that machine.
