"What the hell happened here?"
I asked, walking around.
There were people attached to every wall by the blue substance, even the ceiling, each of them looking worse than the others.
One thing was for sure,
Whatever did this was still here.
"This ship has been stranded for a while, this had to have happened recently. Otherwise the bodies would have begun to decay."
Timothy said.
"Do you know when The Andromeda received the distress call?"
Both Timothy and Violet shook their heads.
"Damn. Well, there may still be survivors. Lets keep looking around, but make sure to have your weapons in hand at all times. Whatever did this is still here."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We searched for what seemed like hours.
Looking under tables, searching between bookshelves, went through every room.
We never found anyone.
"You think they sent us out here knowing this happened?"
Violet said.
"What if this was supposed to be a suicide mission?"
"The commander wouldn't do that to us."
I said.
"And even if he did know, I'm sure he sent us for a good reason."
Violet rolled her eyes.
"Sure, because-"
BANG!
Something crashed from downstairs, startling us all.
"What the hell was that?!"
Timothy shouted, slowly retreating.
"I-it was probably the ship, nothing more."
Another loud ban, followed by what sounded like footsteps.
"Run"
I said, racing for the steps, Violet and Timothy right behind me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We ran faster than we've ever ran before.
Our muscles burning, our chests heaving, whatever we heard seemingly right behind us.
"Help!"
A faint voice called, making me stop.
"What the fuck are you doing?!"
Violet screeched, turning back to me.
"I hear someone call for help, go back to the pod without me."
Violet hesitated, then nodded and ran back to the entrance of the ship.
"I'm coming to help you!"
