I must say, I am somewhat happy to see that chapter 6 is the end. This is every child's fear that you are drawing at the moment. The fear of being abandoned. And this is every child's reflex as well, going back to the place where you have been abandoned. This is very visceral, it takes your mind and brings it back to a developmental level you thought you have evolved out of. I don't know whether you have ever read "The Velveteen Rabbit: Or how Toys become real", it is a similar tale about growing up, leaving behind and abandoning our childhood (as opposed to being abandoned in your own tale). The emotions it elicits are very alike. You are doing quite a good job with this. I feel you would be good for that niche of comics where naïve art is used for a more adult plot.
Your consciousness is set in flesh you were not born in. You awake to find yourself in a world where lands migrate when you aren’t looking. For some reason losing your memory is worth the cost. You were human once, right?
How does amnesia work? How much of you is lost? How much of you is regained? Anamnesis is an anthology about de/reconstructing important elements from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. Some stories are influenced by r/mysterydungeon prompts and reader suggestion.
