When I woke up I was in the same bed room again wearing a pair of warm flannel pajamas. I expected to be tied up or something but no. I wasn't even handcuffed like last time. The window was now sealed shut by something that looked like glue so I couldn't climb out of it again. I got up and tried to pry it open. Nope. That was going nowhere. So my options were to hide in the bathroom or I could face whatever was outside. With a great deal of reluctance I opened the door. On the left was a hallway with a few doors and to my right was a staircase that went downstairs. I didn't bother to be quiet as I walked down the stairs. There was really no point now. I paused when I heard voices coming from the kitchen to my left.
“When do you think she'll come down?” That's Damon’s voice.
“Probably never. She’s probably hiding in the bathroom.” I was suddenly glad I didn't pick that option. I took a deep breath. I was okay in acting due to the constant church plays I was forced into every few months. It made my Nana happy but I never really liked it. I was just good enough to be able to lie my way out of most things. So that was all I needed. I shook my expression to turn into a calm persona. Time to scare some kidnappers. Scaring people has always been fun.... I have a slight sadist streak..... Don't look at me like that.... Anyway, time to act like a psychopath. Just because they abducted me doesn't mean they're the scariest person here............ *Evil Laugh*
To the shock of my abductors, I calmly walked into the kitchen and sat down across from Damon. I'm proud to say I wasn't even shaking. My expression wasn't a normal calm. It was more like I had gone through all of my adrenaline, unfortunately. This was a crazy kind of calm. I looked each of them in the eyes and spoke. My voice neutral, “So are one of you going to speak? Or can I go take a nap?” Honestly, I might just go take a nap. The bed upstairs is really comfy.
My words only dragged each of them further into shock. Lucas and Damon looked to the woman to my right for orders on how to handle this. I pulled a smile on and looked at the woman, “So your in charge here, Good to know.” I held my hand out to her for a hand shake, “I'd say nice to meet you but that would be a lie. I never caught your name by the way.” My hand shake and calm banter threw everyone off at first but they recovered and the woman shook my hand. She gave me an almost motherly smile, “You can call me Darla.” I nodded. Good, now when I get out of here i'll have a name to put with the face. I'm going to put all of your names in an old-school burn book. Like the one on mean girls..... Oh ya, and put all of them in prison for a long long time.
