The party was already out of control when the girls got there. They had arrived in two separate cars, mostly everyone rode with Izzy while Brandon rode with Quinn in the Porsche. Quinn had taken her own car in case she decided to skip out or stay late. Mason Townson lived in a huge house. The kind of house where the entire front was nothing but a big window. His driveway was the size of three and was made in stones. In the back was a large swimming pool and a deck where many mingled.
The house was jam-packed with people in costume. Mason was dressed as a Trojan warrior, a helmet and everything. He stood by the door greeting everyone.
“Hey. What do you think?” Harley walked over to him in her sexy scarecrow costume.
“You guys look awesome. Who’s the lion?” Mason asked.
“It’s Brandon,” Brandon said awkwardly.
“Wow, dude you look awesome! Come in, come in, you guys definitely have the best costumes.”
“Naturally.” Stratus smiled before walking in, wearing her Glinda the good costume. Poufy dress and all.
“You would be the wicked witch.” Mason shook his head at Quinn as she walked in, trailing behind the group.
“How could I pass up such a golden opportunity?” she smirked before walking in.
“I’ll catch up with you guys,” Harley called to them, sticking with Mason.
“I’ve never been to a party before,” Brandon admitted.
“Me either,” Izzy said.
“It’s easy. talk to people, eat the food, drink the beer, and laugh.” Quinn said pushing them towards a crowd of people.
“I’ll stick with you guys if that helps.” Nevaeh walked after them.
“Have fun!” Quinn called out to them before moving to walk off.
Her and Stratus shared a look, almost as if they really were Glinda and the Wicked Witch, Quinn glared at her before walking off without saying anything. Stratus rolled her eyes and walked towards the back yard.
Quinn made her way to the drink station, grabbing a red cup filled with some liquid. There was a bunch of red cups filled up just waiting to be taken and drunk.
“Wow, you make green look hot.” Some guy said.
“Thanks,” Quinn smirked at him.
Quinn’s whole face and neck were painted green, as well as both her arms and hands. Her costume was almost true to the original except instead of puffy long black sleeves she had feathers that covered her shoulders and netted see-through sleeves. Her burn scar was painted black for emphasis. She definitely had more of a Wicked vibe going than a Wizard of Oz vibe.
Quinn eyed the liquid before shrugging and downing the whole thing. She made a face at its taste. Then she shook it off before grabbing another cup and walking back into the crowd.
“Looking good Brandon.” Someone called.
He smiled.
“Wow, Brandon you look awesome.” Some girl commented.
“He’s hot don’t you think?” Another added.
Brandon felt his cheeks flush.
“Look at you, lady killer.” Izzy teased him.
“They are just being nice.” He made an excuse.
“No way, you look awesome, like the real lion from the movie,” Neveah added.
“Brandon!” Adam ran over to him.
He had caramel colored skin and dark brown hair that was almost black. It was styled and obviously well kept with the sides being shorter than the top. His eyes were dark brown and he had a five o’clock shadow forming. He was thin and slightly muscular though not as much as Mason. He was dressed in a green suit with a top hat.
“I didn’t really know what a wizard of oz costume should look like so I improvised, what do you think?” He asked.
“You look great, I’m Izzy.” She introduced herself.
“Neveah,” Neveah added.
“Nice to meet you guys. You both look awesome too.”
“We look like we stepped off the movie set.” Brandon joked.
Adam chuckled.
“This is Adam.” Brandon introduced him.
“We figured.” Izzy smiled.
“Hey guys.” Stratus walked over to them.
“Well if it isn’t Glinda the good.” Adam joked.
“And you are?”
“Adam.”
“Nice to meet you, Adam. I’m Stratus.” Stratus smiled at him.
“So how do you know Brandon?” Izzy asked, leading the way to back porch where there was room to move and sit down.
Everyone followed after her.
“We don’t go to the same school but we met at a convention once,” Adam said.
“I got lost remember, then I got you lost.” Brandon chuckled at the memory.
“Oh yeah! Dude we ended up missing the panel because of you.” He shook his head.
“But it was worth it to make a good friend.” Brandon smiled.
Quinn pulled out her Polaroid camera and walked around the party snapping a few pictures here and there, before she pulled out her professional camera and did the same, moving around to get better angles of the room.
Then she grabbed another drink before heading upstairs and looking over the balcony of the party. As she looked through her camera lens someone came up behind her.
“Still with that camera I see.” She commented to Quinn.
Quinn turned and looked.
“You, what are you doing here?” Quinn’s eyes went wide with surprise.
“I live here, what are you doing here?”
“Wait you live here… You’re Mason’s older sister.” Quinn said feeling dumb.
“And I’m guessing you’re not a 20-year-old who works at the library.” She crossed her arms.
“Guilty as charged. Guess you found me out.” She smirked.
“Guess so.” She leaned on the railing close to Quinn.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in college?”
“Told my parents I’d keep an eye on him this weekend. Then he bribed me with money and food not to tell them about the party. Thus, my situation.”
“Ah, makes more sense.”
“So, I never got a number or the last name. Couldn’t look you up. How could you just leave me high and dry like that? I thought we had a good time.” she frowned.
“Oh, we did, until your girlfriend poured her drink on me and told me to get lost.”
“I think you mean my Ex-girlfriend.”
“Well you know the truth now, I’m just 17. And I go to school with your brother.”
“That doesn’t change the fact that I’ve been going wild for you ever since. I went crazy trying to find you on the internet. Saw you on the news, figured the rest out on my own. So, can I have those digits now?”
“Really, even though you know the truth?”
“Age is just a number, besides you’ll be 18 in less than a year and we can say fuck ‘em to anyone who tries to say anything. I’m only 22.”
“Hmm, I’ll think about it.” She shrugged.
“You tease.” The girl laughed and pinched Quinn on the butt.
“Hey, easy. You got to convince me first.” Quinn ran her hand down her back and got a good feel for the girl’s butt.
“I can convince you, come with me.” she pulled her to her room.
Quinn let her eyes take in the bleach blond girl. She was tall, like her brother, and she was curvy. A full figure with a rack to match. She wore tight booty shorts and a tank top. A loose raggy jacket tied around her waist. She had on skate shoes and pink socks that came to her knees. Her nails were painted black and on her wrist was multiple bangles. Her blond locks have pink streaks and were pulled up into a sloppy ponytail. Her ears were gaged and her lip ring was pink.
“It’s Roxy in case you forgot.” She called over her shoulder.
“I didn’t.”
Izzy stared in confusion as she was getting a drink, she watched Quinn walk away with some blond girl. Before she could say anything to the others,
“Hey, Izzy!” Ava called.
Izzy turned to her.
“Guys are about to get in a drink off, want to watch?”
Izzy shrugged and walked over to them.
“Time to see who can drink the most beer without puking.” Ava giggled.
“I bet it’s not that hard, my dad drinks like a case of beer a day and is fine.” Izzy shrugged.
“If you think it’s so easy then go on and put your money where your mouth is.” Ava pushed Izzy into the circle of guys.
“I don’t know.” Izzy frowned.
“Izzy, Izzy, Izzy!” people cheered.
“Alright, if you insist.” She smirked, putting her cup down and grabbing a beer instead.
