RRRRIIIINNNNGGG RRRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGG “sigh, 5:30 huh? He must be an early bird or something like that.” I walk down stairs only to find that “HE ALREADY LEFT!?!”
"Dear Cassandra I already left for school. Sorry, but I did send someone to come pick you up. -Cody" A note read
“He didn’t even say who’s gonna pick me up? Ughhhh……” DING DONG
That must be them. “Hello?” when I opened the door a tall boy with with short dark purple hair, red glasses, and tattoos covering his arms greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. “You must be Cassandra, I’m Gash.” “ It’s nice to meet you Gash.”And so I followed him to his car. I know it’s not smart to follow strangers into their car…..But something about him makes me trust him. “Is Cody treating you well?” “Yeah, he’s really nice.” I told him in a somewhat shy voice. “How long have you known Cody? How do you know each other?” “well……” Gash’s face was turning slightly red. “Me and Cody actually dated……” “.........” “Are you okay, Cassandra?” A let a small laugh that slowly got bigger. “REALLY?! OMG THAT WOULD BE SO CUTE!!!” “Hey, before you get over your head here, we dated as an experiment. We weren’t sure about our sexuality. Turns out, we’re both straight.” Gash chuckled a bit. He stopped in front of the school, looked at it, then continued to drive. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING! THAT WAS THE SCHOOL!!!” “I know” He gave me a sly look with a sly grin. At this point I should’ve walked. “WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME!” No answer. “TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE TAKING ME!!!” still no answer. “You are a ghost right?.” Gash asked “Yeah….” “Schools don’t exist for ghost.” “WHAT!?!” What did he mean by that? “We don’t have schools in the ghost world.” “B-but yesterday Co-” “About that…” Cody said as he was popping up from the backseat. “WHERE IN THE FRICKITY FRACK DID YOU COME FROM?!” “Oh I was here the whole time hehe.” oh brother. “What was that place you showed me than?” “The library...” Cody said in a voice that was filled with guilt. “WHY!?!” I almost screamed my words, letting all of my frustration free. But I decided to take a long deep breath trying to stay calm.
Finally the car had stopped. We were parked in front of a small blue house. It had a small rose bed on each side of it’s porch. Someone was sitting on one of the steps, blowing bubbles and cuddling what looked like to be a giant hamster like creature. I believe they’re called capybara. “HEY! ARE YOU READY TO GO!” Gash yelled through the car window. The boy on the porch walked towards the car and sat down right next to Cody. “Cassandra, this is Dresden. Dresden, Casandra.” I said hi to Dresden, but he ignored me. I swear, the nerves of these people. “So, you GUYS brought a GIRL to this trip?” Dresden said with a snarky attitude. Like I said before, THE NERVES OF THESE PEOPLE! “What trip.” Asked anyone who’d care. “SHE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING!!!!” Then I turned around and took a long look at him to take notes. Jet black, uncut, messy hair that complemented his eyes. His eyes, they were calm, but they were a pure silver. He was wearing a light grey sweater and an olive green beanie. And of course black skinny jeans filled with holes. “That’s because we didn’t tell her, Dresden.” Gash told him with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. For ghost they sure don’t act dead.
