Another look at bad artwork I ACTUALLY thought I should sell for $3.99! What was I thinking?!

Anywho, these pages depict The J stabbing the special tranqulizer into Sergei (#3 p1 of the original mini-series and #2 p18 of the Web Series).
The way in which The J actually got the tranq is vastly different between the original mini-series and the current web series. But there's not enough time/space in the descrpition, so let's move.

Like I said in the last OvN, the poseing is more dynamic and the porportions are better. One thing that's interesting is that originally Sergei had a more realistic body design. He was still 9-feet tall and Hulked out, but his legs and torso matched the human body more correctly. When redesgining him I decided to have more fun and play with the stylized world. In cartoon logic drawing someone huge but with tiny legs makes them look even stronger. Now I uses this thinking on all my more muscular characters.

One last thing to note is the improvement on backgrounds. I hated drawing backgrounds back in high school, and even though I still prefer drawing people, backgrounds are a lot more fun to make for me. I had a little more imagination with this warehouse setting. Makes the world more three dimensional.
