Schuyler
Schuyler could almost hear the wind in his ears as he broke down, rubbing his arm as he moved away from the man in front of him. He needed to take a seat and when he felt a hand at his back and one at his elbow he let himself be guided to the couch. Sinking into the cushions Sky bit his lip.
"I kept thinking about it over and over for a while but then you called me," Sky said, casting his eyes down to his feet. "I'm sorry if I freaked you out earlier or pushed too far. I can take you home if you want me to."
"No I think I'll stay here, just to make sure you're okay. I... I had a feeling something... you weren't okay," Jonas said, moving to sit down before jumping back upright. "You know what, where are your blankets?"
"In the hall closet, why?" Sky turned halfway around to watch as Jonas bounced away.
"You said we were gonna watch a movie."
Unable to move Sky simply sat there and leaned back against the couch. Jonas came back with the biggest blanket in the closet and gave it to Sky who wrapped himself up in the thick comforter pretty quick.
"Where are the movies?"
"In that cd case on the tv stand."
Jonas chose a mindless action movie, sitting on the other end of the couch and snuggling up under the covers before looking to Sky, poised to move, "You don't mind do you?"
Shaking his head Sky propped his feet up on the table as Jonas scooted over to sit next to him, hip to hip as the man laid his head on Sky's shoulder.
"I really am sorry about-"
"Stop apologizing. You didn't mean anything by it and you didn't push when I asked you to stop and I appreciate that. I just don't feel comfortable doing stuff like that just yet. We can make out though," Jonas said, snuggling up closer to Sky.
"Right now maybe?"
"Get your mind out of the gutter for five seconds." Jonas rolled his eyes, shoving Sky's shoulder. "Jesus."
"I'm just joking. Thanks... for staying over. It means a lot to me."
"You don't have to thank me I just wanna be sure you're okay."
Nodding his head Sky let his eyes flutter closed, the feel of Jonas pressed into his side providing a sense of warmth and comfort. He didn't remember falling asleep or Jonas moving so close but there they were, Jonas legs draped over his and their arms wrapped around each other. Sky couldn't remember the last time he got to hold someone like that.
Not wanting to wake Jonas up Sky moved slowly, trading two pillows in for a place for him to rest his head. The man stirred, even opening his eyes before going back to sleep, smacking his lips and murmuring an incoherent string of nothings. Jonas rolled over then said, "No, no. How you just gone take my gator from me?" causing Sky burst out laughing. It was the sudden change in accent that got to him.
Making his way into the kitchen Sky grabbed a cup out of the cabinet. Rinsing the cup off he grabbed ice out the freezer, the cubes sticking to his finger tips. When he got back in the living room Jonas was groaning, rubbing at his eyes and trying to sit up.
"Where did- where are you, Sky? Ah shit I'm in so much trouble when I get home," Jonas whined, slamming his face back into the pillows.
Snorting Sky hopped over the back of the couch before remembering he'd laid Jonas legs on it, catching himself before he could land on the man.
"So you're up?" he asked, gently sitting down next to Jonas legs. The man started to curl up into a ball, hugging the pillows close to him as Sky sipped his drink.
"They're gonna think I'm in trouble or up to something. Oh my god I told them about us going out!" Jonas gasped, groaning before burying his face deeper into the pillow.
"Jonas, are you okay?" Sky asked, raising a brow at him.
"No. Sky, it's gonna be a murder." Jonas sat up, frowning at Sky. "I didn't even get laid. Don't judge me I'm drunk on sleep."
"I'm not judging. You want me to take you home? I can explain everything once we get there if you want."
"Seeing you will only make things worse."
Smirking Sky cocked his head to the side, "What makes you say that?"
"J... just look at him, lord Jesus help me," Jonas mumbled to himself. "I bet I don't even have to ask can I kiss you."
"No, but it's cute." Sky smiled, leaning forward.
Jonas paused for a moment, nervously biting at his bottom lip in thought. It was cute and Sky had to wait a moment to admire it before Jonas shut his eyes and planted a light kiss on Sky's lips, smiling against them as he made a move to pull back.
"So I'm cute..." Jonas mumbled to himself, lips curving into a small smile. Turning his head away Jonas got up from the couch. "What did I do with my coat?"
"I think it fell somewhere back there. Are you sure you don't want me to walk you home?
Slipping his arms into his jacket Jonas smiled. "I'll be fine."
"Okay, maybe we can do this again some time- go out to dinner not sleep together," Sky said before noticing Jonas' flushed cheeks. "I don't mean sleep together sleep together just... hm... uh... it was nice- spending time with you!"
Nodding his head vigorously Jonas brushed his hair off his forehead. "Yeah, it was."
Getting up Sky shuffled towards the door. "Let me."
"Thanks." Jonas blushed again. "I guess I'll see you on Monday at the stop."
"Yeah, I guess you will... can I just...?" Sky leaned forward, waiting for permission from Jonas who got flustered all over again.
Jonas looked down at his feet before looking up again and nodding his head, welcoming Sky's kiss. The man lifted his head to caress Sky's cheek causing a flutter in his chest. At this rate Sky didn't think he'd be able to handle his leaving.
"Mmm," Jonas hummed, smiling to himself. "Well... goodbye."
In a bit of a tizzy Sky leaned against the doorframe. "Yeah."
Giggling a little Jonas shook his head before retreating down the hall. Sky stood there for a moment, watching him leave as he replayed the kiss they shared in his mind over and over. He had to see Jonas again soon.
