Gotta remind myself of this every night I start fretting about whatever I gotta do tomorrow. Obviously it isn’t always this simple, with anxiety and the like, but it’s a helpful grounding point for me to tell myself “yo the literal best thing you can do for yourself tomorrow is to rest, otherwise any strategies/last minute prep you’re trying to think of now its going to go to waste because honestly you’re not gonna remember any of it.”
This happens to me between 2 and 3am. I wake to go to the toilet AND THEN I lie in bed for the next two hours worrying over little things I need to do while continuing telling myself to not stress and go to sleep. So bothersome.
