Chapter 3

The son of William and Susie had been kidnapped by a mysterious military group. He got knocked out by a huge man and thrown into the back of a paddy wagon. The huge man made sure that the boy had hit the hard metal floor of the vehicle. The hard fall causes the boy to wake up as he hears two men close the back door to the paddy wagon. The doors were locked by two men who get in the driver and passenger seats. The two men drive off in a fury and they do not check for incoming traffic. They drive unto a highway and go as fast as they could. The men pay no heed to the speed limit.

They have military license plates so they will not be stopped by the police.

The military of Urano were not be fooled with. The culture of the Urano faction was very results heavy. They ran rough shot over the people of Urano. The military often took advantage of its people every chance that the leadership could make of them. The common people of the faction lived in fear of what the military and other government officials might do to them. Most people just did as they were told and did not openly question what the leadership had told them.

Somehow, Ibor, the enemy faction had been crippled by a secret weapon. All the satellites and major government/military complexes were destroyed by some unknown means. The Urano faction wanted to finish off Ibor for good and set up a one world government. The leadership was not satisfied with only around half of planet Rindat, since they desired to have all of it. It was simply greed in the worst and most despicable way possible.

The boy stirs to his feet and begins to look around his surroundings. He is in the back of some van or some other kind of transport. He checks the doors in the back but they can not be opened. He checks under the two long seats on each side of the paddy wagon. Over the next few minutes the boy has the back of the paddy wagon completely checked out. The boy keep moving around to keep himself

from focusing on his pain from being hit by the huge thug.

The boy remembers his mother and father being attacked by two soldiers but why? He wished

that he could just go back home and this was just a bad nightmare. But he knew that was for real, since the pain was all too real. He got knocked out by someone from behind and thrown into this paddy wagon.

The boy wonders as he awakens,”Who had attacked us? I hope mom and dad are okay! They are not fighters and the Maker is their only protection! I have got to get out of here and get back home! I know that I have captured but what for? Why would the military want to do with me, some boy? I am only twelve years old! There has to be better people that they could have taken. But why did they single me out?”

The boy begins to check the back of the paddy wagon again from corner to corner.

He hears a voice coming from several hidden speakers in the back of the vehicle where the boy is at.

“Look all you want but you will never find the way out! The paddy wagon is completely sealed from the inside! Give it up and submit to what you are being told! It will be a lot easier for you if you do!”

Another voice speaks,”We can see every move you make! You are standing next to the left back door!”

The boy starts to grin from ear to ear.

The first voice demands,” What is so funny, boy?”

The first voice was sitting in the front passenger seat and was watching a dashboard with eight TV screens. One screen goes fuzzy after another until they are all blank. The passenger begins to get angry about not being able to see what the boy is doing. The driver glances over to see the passenger hitting the dashboard out of frustration. The two men are being to lose their patience and the driver presses the button on the dashboard for speech to the back of the paddy wagon.

He demands,”Stop messing with things back there or we will kill your parents ourselves! They are not as hardy as you are and they are so easy to torture!”

The boy knows that they mean business and sits down on one of the long seats in the back. He knows that he has be patient and wait until an opportunity presents itself. He remains still until he can get out of this situation.

The men try to get in the boy's head and try to get him upset.

One of the men speaks,” Kid you are nothing to us and you will soon be beaten into submission!”

The other man tags in and starts insulting the boy even more but it does not work. They can not get a rise of the young boy. The boy was taught by his parents to not let others make him mad and lower himself down to their level.

The men can’t get a rise out of the boy no matter what they do. They are starting to get raving mad and they begin to curse rapidly like mad men. They even insult the boy's mother and the boy has to bite his lip to keep from saying something. He would not give these evil men the satisfaction of getting. After some time the men give up the insults since it is not going anywhere. The men turn off the speakers and give themselves a break.

The driver spoke,” I can not believe that the kid is so hard to break! I seen grown men that break quicker and give into rage!”
