It's 8:00:00PM, and I'm in a hurry.
"Hey, Cel. Dinner is ready."
There's no answer. Like always.
I tried again. Speaking louder doesn't help.
I guess she's still sleeping.
It's 8:01:23PM.
As I was going up the stairs, I heard the door slowly opening.
"...Alex?"
"Good evening! Dinner is ready."
As listless as she was, she built up some stamina to get in the living room.
As of 8:04:53PM, we could finally have dinner.
"So, what did you do this morning?" - She asked.
"Business."
"...You can tell me some details once in a while, you know?"
"It's a waste of time telling people what they already know, don't you think?"
She froze. For about 7 seconds.
"So tonight he's doing the job, right?"
"Kind of. He said that this would be the first and last time."
"Well, he doesn't have a choice, does he?"
"He will understand soon enough. I'll get going."
"But you didn't finish a thing!"
"That's because you got here late. You should sleep more in the morning." - I smirked at her.
