"Vlalan." a soft voice echoed quietly.
"Vlalan." the voice became louder.
Vlalan's eyes opened wearily seeing a blurry figure with a sky blue shade behind it.
"WAKE UP VLALAN OR I'LL LEAVE YOU HERE DEAD!!!"
Vlalan shot up eyes wide and stared at the figure, looking somewhat drunk and groggy. After a moment his eyes cleared showing Elle was standing up with his hands on his hips.
"Oh.. What happened?" Vlalan asked standing up and rubbing his head.
"An earthquake, bright light and here we are in a green valley and I can't find Shofer!" Elle shouted. "This is all your fault!"
"My fault?" Vlalan stared. "What the heck did I do?!"
"If you weren't sleeping like Aurora then I could have gone and found Shofer by now," Elle snapped as he started to walk away.
Vlalan looked around. They were in a vast green valley with mountains it seemed to the north and a forest to the south. Elle was walking it seemed in-between. Vlalan ran after Elle.
"Wait! Do you still have Memento?" Elle held up the pendant on it's chain not turning to Vlalan. "So... Who's Shofer?"
"My stuffed bunny you ding-bat!"
"In my defense, I'd make a better moron than a ding-bat."
Elle stopped and turned to Vlalan raising an eye brow. "You're right." Vlalan nodded, hoping he'd gained some respect. "You're too short to be a ding-bat." Vlalan glared at Elle as the teen turned around and started to walk again.
"Where are you going?" Vlalan asked as he ran to catch up with Elle.
"I walked around a bit and saw what looked like a dirt path this way," Elle answered. "Maybe it leads to a town."
"A town that has your little plushie?"
"Hey!" Elle shouted. "Shut up. That bunny's helped me get through tough times, Aurora."
"It's Vlalan, Elle," Vlalan answered sarcastically. "I'm not some sleeping beauty."
"You sure slept for a while."
"I got knocked out!"
"Old man."
