~*~ One Hour, 40 Minutes Later ~*~

Vlalan knocked on the recovery ward door to the room Elle was in, "Elle?" He pushed open the door and walked in.

Elle was sitting on the bed in the middle of the book. He closed it, a finger marking his place. "Hi. So what's going on?"

Vlalan scratched his head as he walked over to Elle, "Well they want to run a few more tests with you and your pendant- Memento."

Elle nodded, "Okay..."

Vlalan looked at Elle for a moment. Yellow and purple- happy and confused? Yeah I'll bet he is confused... Vlalan held up Memento to Elle, "Here."

Elle reached his hand out for it, but didn't take it. "You aren't going to knock me unconcious again are you?"

"No."

Elle took the pendant and held it close to him, closing his eyes.

Pure white, a calm aura. Not blinding like last time though.

Vlalan looked up and around when he heard an alarm sound. "Now what?!"

A voice over the intercom sounded. "Elle. We'll be save you soon. Stick with a person you trust."

"Who's that?" Elle asked looking around.

"No one I know!"

The building shook like it was a 4.0 earthquake magnitude.

The voice came on again, sounding more female than unisex like it did before. "Elle. Vlalan. Come to me. Come."

"What the hell!?" Vlalan shouted as a bright light flashed from Elle and everything went white.
