The door to the closed elevator opened up and Vlalan walked out into a brightly lit room filled with books. He walked around a few shelves and stopped by a desk covered in some papers and a small lamp. Vlalan looked around at the old Victorian styled room.
"A minute early, Vlalan," a male's voice said.
Vlalan turned around. From the opposite side of the study-or library rather- a door had opened and Rupert walked in. He closed the door to the stairrail behind him and waved to Vlalan as he leaned against the table.
"You were always one who liked to not keep people waiting," Rupert answered.
Vlalan nodded, "I like getting straight to the point, too. Why'd you call me here, sir?"
Rupert chuckled a bit, "You must have sensed that I know something that I didn't share with the others earlier?" Vlalan nodded. "I sense that you know something as well. How about a trade?"
"My information for yours?"
"Yes. You first."
Vlalan nodded, "Sir, I believe that Dai can't be trusted."
"Why's this?"
"He killed that boy's father."
"Taking a soft spot for the kid?"
"No," Vlalan answered sternly. "He killed Nine-Nine-Seven. He's a traitor."
"We should keep an eye on him then," Rupert nodded. "I'll notify the others to keep tabs on him."
"You now."
Rupert nodded, "Very direct, Vlalan. I know of your power." Vlalan's eyes went white. "You've done well to try and hide it, but you're uncanny words of saying to people for us to keep away from someone who was feeling sad or angry- I took notice of it and did a study. Found out your power. But now, I have reason to believe that you're becoming too close to the boy."
"Why?"
"I saw you kiss him."
