After some further discussion of food and what Elle absolutely hated, Vlalan determined this kid would be very picky in his meals and sent the young boy to take a bath.
Vlalan took out his cell phone and flipped open the ultra thin platinum model and stared at the light blue abstract wallpaper as he thought. A moment later he dialed in 47-993 and waited.
"Hello?"
"Vlalan here."
"How is the boy?"
"He appears very girly and is picky with his meals."
"I meant does he have it!"
"I haven't looked yet. If he works in the garden tomorrow, I'll check around his room. I might be able too while he's asleep tonight." Vlalan answered softly.
"I don't care how long it takes, Nine-Nine-Nine," the female raspy voice snapped. "I have all eternity on my side. You'd better find it soon though! I want that--"
Vlalan flipped the cell phone shut and sighed. "I know. I know." He looked up to the ceiling and repeated it, "I know." He then softly mocked the woman's raspy tone of voice, "And whatever you do- don't get attached to the boy!"
He smiled a bit as he put his cell phone back into his pocket.

Elle finished cleaning himself and was relaxing in the hot warm water.
"I don't understand that guy! Why does he care so much about what I eat?" Elle sighed. "Maybe he's like everyone else I've ever met and just wants something from me." He nodded.
"There's not a human alive who doesn't want something," Elle quoted. "That's what you said last to me.. Mother."
