Katie looked to her teacher Ms. Abernacky as she called for the kids attention, "Alright everyone, this is our guide today, his name is Mr. McCoy. Please say hello and give him your attention," she said. Katie looked at the man he wore a brown button up, with blue jeans, and boots. He had red hair and brown eyes, " 'Ello kids, the name is Jacob McCoy, but you can tikkes can call my Mr. Jacob or Mr. McCoy," he said with a huge smile. "Hello Mr. McCoy," the class said together. "Alright, everyone let's begin this tour and learn some fun things," Mr. McCoy said. Katie raised her hand before he turned around, "Yes, what would you like to know sheila?" Mr. McCoy asked. "Are we going to see the dinosaur exhibit?" she called out. "Why yes we are, don't you worry about it, kay," he said. Katie smiled as she walked in the line with her class. She wasn't excited by it like most of her classmates she was waiting to she the dinosaurs.
"Alright, lunch break everyone," Ms. Abernacky called out. Katie went to get Lea and herself some food and while she sat away from her class she fed her friend. "Hi, there...Katie right?" Mr. McCoy said out of nowhere. Katie jumped as she hides her backpack and looked up at the man, "Y-y-y-yes," she stuttered out worried he saw Lea. "Are you alright? You hid your backpack very fast, are you being bullied?" he asked. Katie shook her head no, "That's not it. I just didn't want you to find it odd that I was putting my vegetables in my backpack," she said. "Ah, don't worry, I don't like some of them either," he said. Katie smiled at him, "So ready we saved the best for last," he said. Katie's eyes lit up as she nodded, "Yeah, I can't wait," she said. "Plan to dig up the past?" Mr. McCoy asked. Katie looked at him smiling even bigger, "Yeah!" she said. Mr. McCoy nodded as he then let her to finish her lunch.
Katie pulled out Lea and sat her in her lap, 'Did you hear that girl we will get to see more dinosaurs like you," she said, "but they aren't alive like you. I'm sorry," she said. Lea cooed as she nuzzled into Katie's tummy and munched on the broccoli she was given. Katie nor Lea noticed the man and woman staring at the pair from the other side of the room, "We need that dinosaur, it's worth more than anything in this dump," the woman said. "But Rochelle how are we going to get it from that kid?" the man asked. "Easy Maurice, we take her as well. She may know where more of them are," Rochelle said twirling a golden lock of hair between her fingers. Her hazel eyes forming a plan on how to get the child alone and out of the area.
Maurice was fiddling with a pocket watch his green eyes looking left and right quickly, his dirty blonde hair was slicked back and combed.
"Line up class," Mr. McCoy said Katie slipped back inside after she took Lea outside to go to the bathroom before she placed her back into her backpack. Mr. McCoy smiled, "Katie could you come to the front please?" he asked. She moved quick, but carefully as Lea stood in her pack. Mr. McCoy led the group with Katie beside him she was very excited, "Almost there girl," she whispered to her. Lea let out a cooing sound as she looked thru the open zipper, "Here we are mates the Dinosaur Exhibit," Mr. McCoy said. Katie stared wide eyed at the bones, pictures, and more. They did some activates that fascinated Katie. While she looked at the displays holding the Deinonychus (die-NON-ee-KUS) claw that she dug up in the sand pit a few minutes ago, Katie didn't notice Rochelle and Maurice stroll near her looking like a couple on a date, "Katie, what do you think?" Mr.McCoy asked. Rochelle and Maurice had to make a sharp turn to avoid Mr.McCoy and give their selves away.
Katie turned to him, "This is amazing. Mr. McCoy," she looked to the ground and shuffled her feet, "Yes?" he asked as he crouched to be eye level with Katie, "What would happen if someone found a living dinosaur and has raised it in captivity?" she asked. "Hm, well it depended on what type of dinosaur if it was a meat eater then that would be impossible, but if you had a plant eater then it is possible as to what will happen. I would say that the person would become very famous and have many people come to their house a vet, Dino diggers, and news would want to know everything they can, but that could be bad because it could stress out the dinosaur and then they would get ill and probably die," Mr. McCoy said. Katie nodded, "Right, thank you," she said, "No problem, you guys have a few more minutes in here then it's time for you all to go back on the bus.
Mr. McCoy left leaving Katie alone once more or so she thought as she was looking at the display she didn't notice the white rag coming up on her right. Maurice pressed the rag onto Katie's face as Rochelle kept an eye out when Kate was knocked out he picked her up and covered her with Rochelle's leather jacket. The two headed to the back of the Museum their boss was going to want to learn about this.
