He waited for a second before the other end of the line picked up.
"Oh yes, hello, this is Jason Silverton"
"What do YOU want?" Your father hissed from the other end of the line.
Jason blinked a little and shook his head sighing "Your daughter is here, laying sick in bed, she's asleep for now so don't worry about her okay?"
"You better not have touched her...I've warned you before and I'll re-" Your father was cut off from Jason's voice picking up quickly "I KNOW, okay? You'll have my head if I ever touch your sweet baby girl again" He sighed and so did your father. Your father continued to try and start an argument with the young male but each time it would end up another waste of both of their time, they chatted after your father had settled and then that was it, your father told him in a stern voice to make sure you didn't get hurt, to keep you safe while she was sick and just to take care, even though he didn't really care about the young yet still responsible male.
Jason set the phone down and rubbed his temples as he fell back into an armchair, his pale yet olive tanned skin hit the arm rests with a small and soft thump and he leaned his head back into the soft cushioning of the chair "He's such a pain, still holding a grudge like that..." He closed his bright amber eyes, sleep wanting to settle in for now. After being yelled at and called out for nothing once again he just wanted to rest, one of the best solutions to his own stress and frustrations. And that's just what he did, his head fell to the side and his arms crossed over his body as he got comfortable to sleep.
The sun peeked over the distant snow-covered hills, the frost on the window panes glistening with small silver lights, small spider webs shining with the drops of rain they had managed to hang on too. The sun slowly melted away the frost on the glass panes and started to shine through the windows and lightly onto your face, after a few moments more of the sun rising into the sky the bright yet still cool sun shone against your face, illuminating your skin ever so softly, the small smile of comfort and small annoyance that graced your features was sweet, some would say it was like magic. You woke up soon enough your e/c orbs fluttering open as you slowly looked around the room, you sat up slowly and rubbed your head a bit "Oh, that's right-" You yawned out "I'm...still here at Jason's.." You smiled sleepily and rubbed your eyes lightly, you climbed out of bed and stepped onto the cool wooden floorboards, shivering slightly you started to head downstairs, the carpet warm from the sunlight that had passed through only moments before. Your h/c locks covered your face while the sides, though it was messy, gently cupped your jawline, your hair bounced slightly with every weary step you took towards the kitchen, you felt as though today was going to be a decent day. As you got into the kitchen you went through the cupboards and made yourself some toast before you went to look for the owner of the house, Jason.
You walked into the living room and paused in your path inside towards him, Jason, the male who was looking after you for less than a day was asleep in an armchair, curled up in the seat, trying to hide from the sunlight that was pouring into the room due to the curtains not being closed the afternoon before. The bright and now warming sun was cloaking his body in a warm pale light that made him shudder, he turned over in the chair and stretched out slowly, he rubbed his eyes a little and passed a hand through his mousy brown locks as his tired amber eyes opened slowly. He paused a little and looked at you, you had been subconsciously getting closer to the lightly olive tanned male, a small blush was coating your cheeks as you looked at him with a soft gaze. He cleared his throat a little which made you snap back to reality, you jumped away and looked at him in surprise "I-I'm so sorry Jason! I didn't even know I was walking towards you!" Said male stood up and laughed as he ruffled your hair "Hey, don't worry okay? It was funny and kinda..." His voice trailed off and you looked at him confused but he shook his head and slowly walked past, he walked to the kitchen, you were close behind, small leaps were in your step as you were still jumpy from the encounter which only happened seconds ago. He went to the sink and started to run the cold water, he cupped his hands under the running water and bent over a bit to wash his face, you watched quietly and closely as he did this, the look of refreshment crossing his features as he stood up straight again and shook off some of the water that had gotten caught in his hair. You stared at him, you couldn't help but think that he was already amazing and honestly, you could tell that your heart was skipping a beat every so often as you slowly scooted closer to him, usually you wouldn't do this, you'd never done this with any other guy, you never EVER dared to get closer but Jason, this boy was an exception to you and nothing would change that.
Jason blinked a bit, his amber orbs flickering to his side as he looked to the young female that was lightly pressing into is side, he stammered a little and looked back the running quickly 'What is she doing?' He thought to himself 'Has she gotten closer?' He looked for a moment and you were looking back at him, Jason watched as the heat rose to your cheeks in an instant and he smiled lightly as you looked away quickly, swiftly making your way back to the other side of the room, he tilted his head ever so slightly, his heart pounding in his chest 'What just happened?'
The time came, the afternoon sun was beaming on the both of you as you relaxed on the park bench, after cleaning up you had asked him, while stuttering immensely, if he had wanted to go out to the park, Jason had quickly agreed to it and went to grab his shoes as well. Before you realized what you had just done to yourself you were quietly squealing into your hands out of pure excitement and joy, glad you took another step to get closer to him. The two of you were sitting together quietly, a picnic basket was set in between the two of you and you looked at curiously "Did you pack us lunch too?" Your e/c orbs flickered up to him as he looked away sheepishly, Jason rubbed his neck a little as he let out a small "Mhm...Hope you don't mind" This made you jump up and grin "That's so sweet of you!" You replied back with, the pale yet olive tanned male looked up at you in shock as he watched you jump around in joy "Y-You think?" He muttered, you noticed his slightly lower tone and you went in front of him, he lowered his head quickly as a pale blush started to coat his cheeks, you tilted his head up slightly and he looked at you in small surprise and worry "Don't panic, okay Jason? It IS super sweet that you thought about bringing extras" You smiled warmly at him and his blush only increased which made you smile even more "A-Alright, I believe you." He sighed out and leaned back, watching from the corner of his eye as you grabbed the basket and went to find a spot to sit. He soon enough followed after you, watching your footsteps quietly.
'Don't fall for her...idiot...'
