The story begins long ago, before the prophecy of a future ruler uniting the world came to past, three thousand years before a young demon came into existence and became the bane of the universe for centuries to come. The demon's name is Murni Bortis. He does not care about life or death just entertainment and existing; but he wasn't always this way.
He was born as a mere low-level demon that can only teleport a few meters and only places that he had been to before. The demon wasn't all that impressive to look at either: he was as pale as flour with wheat colored hair and dull light brown eyes with a short stature and slim body. It was apparent to anyone that Murni was fortunate to have a strong heritage, otherwise he would of easily died. A weak demon would have been killed in that kind of environment, so with a strong family like his he wouldn't be messed with. Nonetheless it was a miracle for him to live as long as he did, he would get punished if he didn't complete any assignments or if he didn't improve on his training; leaving him with multiple bruises daily. Everyday he is given different tasks to complete in hopes that he gets stronger yet he fails at most of them only succeeding if involved in running. The training was excruciating that mere mortal would have died, he barely survived and it was by mostly dodging attacks that would kill him in fight training; in weapons he was only useful with an elongated daggers and staffs that did any damage in extended skirmishes.
He was extremely fortunate to live as long as he did for all demons attain their power fully at the ripe age of 15 years old. Murni only had a week left until he can finally prove that he is worth something, even if it only meant he can travel a limited amount of distance. It would be something at least, to spare him from further punishment and be of use to his kin. Too bad he died soon after to even find out the extent of his powers; but now our story begins and so does his life.
"Owww...my, my everything hurts." the young demon whimpered as he curled up into a ball before slowly looking up and seeing that he was in a dark cavern with light emitting from somewhere up above. The cave was fairly small more of deep hole than anything, only big enough for him walk a few paces in all directions. Stalagmites and stalactites littered the area only to server prove that he was in a cave somewhere underground, as the shadows lurk casted by an unknown source of light. He continued to look around as much as he could from the cold ground. Once he saw all he could he looked down upon his body to see how badly his injuries were that prevents him from moving with enticing pain, from which he assumes he gain from his descent down into this mysterious place. To his dismay he had no recollection of how he came to be in such a state or location. Or even how he fell in the first place. To say that he was shocked is an understatement, he was bewildered that although he was severe pain his body was completely fine.
"What in the two kingdoms?" he whispered, eyes widening and held his breath in fear that any moment gashes would appear on his small body. Moments pasted and his body never seem to be maimed or harmed in any way, seeing this he willed his body to a siting position leaning against the wall beside him. Now that he was up he saw an opening a little ways up on the wall across from him where the light came from. Only problem was that the stalactites above looked about ready to fall at any moment and with him be physically weak and tired he couldn't make it up anytime soon.
"Just my luck, the only way out and I can't get to it." Murni sighed defeated, "Its fine I'll try when my body can move, hopefully my family won't punish me when I get back; my body hurts enough as it does already. And I'm talking to myself, how much more pathetic can I get," he chuckled sadly closely his eyes unknowing of the figure that watches him from above. The figure walked away tsking in disappointment that Murni has given up so soon and hasn't even realized yet that the pain he feels is fake.
