AARON
I wake up, breath ragged and heavy, though I have no logical reason to be out of sorts. I wipe my eyes and turn on the lamp by my bed, reaching out for the notepad and pen right by it. My eyes are half-open and I’m absolutely certain I’m going to wake up Emily again. I begin writing down what I can remember, but it was all pretty straightforward of a dream – possible acknowledgment of timeline/universe theories, going to work together to make the in-universe “us” friends. That’s all I write. I don’t think anything else really happened.
Dating the page, I put it back on my night table. My head’s still foggy and I’m slowly forgetting what I said that made Louis so happy. ‘I’ll read it in the morning,’ I muse, rolling over and snuggling down back into the warmth of my bed.
