Joslyn had patiently waited all night for hot surfer boy (as Raven had called him) to leave his booth. Guilty as it made her feel she had looked forward to getting to know him better. She had even returned several times throughout the night for refills, mostly because Russ kept stealing her cups and drinking them himself, but he hadn’t even tried leaving the booth once. Instead, he had stayed busy with various partygoers, checking ID’s and explaining services his shop would offer. Eventually Raven had left to go dance with a guy she had known from work. Shelly had remained glued to the stage the entire night, leaving her alone with Russ. Typically spending time with him wasn’t a big, out-of-the-ordinary event but he had been aggressively making passes at her all night. The drunker he got the more forceful he became.
She replayed it in her mind.
“Russ, damnit stop!” she pushed him away as he tried taking yet another one of her cups of beer. “You are already drunk enough-” Before the last word could fully come out of her mouth his lips came crashing down on her, almost painfully.
She pushed his face away and tried turning away from him, but he grabbed her arm. “Jos, please quit fighting this. I know you want me to. I can feel it with every thread of my body!” He pulled her closer, pressing her hand into his chest and pushing it down his abdomen.
She pulled away with more force this time, “Russ, stop it! This!” she pointed indicating them both. “It’s never going to happen! You know that I know that! Let’s for a minute forget the age difference and any consideration for others around us. If you were to become serious with anyone other than a full-blooded werewolf, your clan and the council would literally shit bricks!” She began to leave but decided to add on one last blow before running as far away from him as she could. “I have changed your diapers before if anything you’re like a little brother to me.”
At that Russ snarled up his nose, “Say what you want, I know you want me. I can see it every time I’m near you and I can SMELL your desire!” he took several drunken steps to close in the distance between them, before finally coming full force at her and trying to land a kiss yet again.
Joslyn threw her hand up to block is lips from her mouth. “Yea, you may be right. I am attracted to you. You’ve always been beautiful, and you’ve truly grown into a man in the last year or so. But that doesn’t change the fact that you are 18 years old, just turned 18 literally 2 MONTHS ago, and I’ve been like a guardian to you?!” She let her voice soften again as she continued knowing good and well these next words would drive him away for sure. “I’m sorry but in the end, you will always be just a child to me.”
Russ grabbed ahold of her hand again and pressed her palm against the front of his shorts. “Does this feel like a child to you?” He forced her fingers to cup him as he grew hard in her hand. “Look at me in the face right here, right now and tell me you think of me as only some child… Like a brother!” He leaned in closer to her, his hot breath tickling the tender flesh of her neck and shoulder. He pushed himself against her palm as he held her hand in place, causing a shocked moan to escape her lips. He whispered against her ear, “You can’t hide it, so why try?”
Joslyn couldn’t handle it any longer. She jerked her hand away and quickly turned away from him. She began pushing through the crowd of people who had begun watching them.
“Fine, say what you will. Run away, throw yourself on the first piece of shit you come across. But know, at the end of the day I will be the one you come home to, and I will not give up!” Russ yelled after her.
Joslyn shook her head without responding and started walking away from the crowd and lights. She found herself alone and away from all the other party guests before she even realized it. As she stared out over the water, she decided to give in to the temptation offered by the calm waves and jumped in. In no time she had completely lost track of all the stresses from just a short while ago.
As she broke the surface of the water this time, she noticed a dark figure standing by the shore. Moving a little closer and allowing her eyes to focus in the dim light provided by the heavens above, she could make out the dark hair and surf shirt of the man. She knew right away who it was.
“Looking for something?” Joslyn asked now close enough to shore to make out his shadowed features. His hair was cut fashionably long, falling in layers right below his ears. A well-defined jawline circled his masculine face. Unfortunately, he was still wearing the sunglasses from earlier, apparently, he’d forgotten about them. Shaking off the slight disappointment, Joslyn allowed her gaze to trail the length of his body for what must have been the hundredth time.
“I was, but I think I found it now.” Xavier said, sliding his tongue out and across his lips to moisten them as he raked one hand through his windblown hair. It was a natural dark, nearly black, a color that picked up the reflection of light cast by the moon and stars. “Would you like some company?” he asked hopefully.
A mischievous smile curved Joslyn’s lips, “Ah, only if you can catch me.” With that said, she dove below the surface, only to pop back up several feet from where she had dove under.
Not giving her time to reconsider Xavier began stripping down to his trunks and down in, swimming with a speed normally avoided. Within mere seconds he was breaking the gleaming surface of water beside her. He wretch out and hooked her around the waist. With a low husky growl, Xavier asked, “I caught you, now what do I win?” he pulled her closer clutching her tighter against him.
She let her hands glide over his glistening chest. She didn’t realize until she looked up that he had already brought his head down closer to hers. With lips scant inches from his, she asked, “I don’t know...” She allowed her lips to brush softly against his, “What would you want?” she worked the fingers of one hand into the wet hair at the back of his head.
Her hands found the back arm of his sunglasses, she pushed down on the arms to cause the glasses to flip up onto his head.
He murmured the only word that could come to mind as her nearness and caresses slowly wreaked havoc on his senses. “You….”
It was barely a whisper on the wind but was enough to send a tingle down Joslyn’s spine. She didn’t bother resisting when he tightened his grip on her waist and lifted her closer to his body. {How can he make my body respond like he is…} His lips captured hers in a hard, heated embrace. A moan escaped her lips as he moved to intensify the kiss by pushing at her lips with the tip of his tongue. He took full advantage of her moan to fully capture her mouth. Water began gliding against her sides as she realized that Xavier was quickly pulling them toward the shore, slowing only when their feet hit the cool sandy floor of the ocean. Even with her senses being overstimulated to the point of explosion she couldn’t help but marvel at the power he exerted, even with gentle waves it still took quite a bit of power to swim so quickly in the ocean.
With a low growl, he slowly glided his hands up along her body. He broke the kiss and caught her face in one hand. His eyes glowed a vibrant golden-green, but she had little time to admire them as he drew her attention to his lips by saying, “You’re driving me crazy.” The words came out as a low guttural purr as he brushed his lips across hers once again, nipping at her lower lip as he pulled away. When she moaned again and tried pulling him in for yet another kiss, he pulled back and said, “Unless you want this to go any farther, I suggest we stop.” He meant his words but silently prayed to himself, {Please, don’t say you want to stop. I don’t even know if I could at this point.}
Glistening golden-green orbs hungrily roved her upper body and face, it was like staring into a pair of brilliant supernova star bursts up close. His caresses had awoken something inside her. She had never felt this insanely out of control in her life; it was like some sort of spell. Liquid heat flowed through her veins like lava. {If this man who emanated sex from every pore couldn’t distract my mind and body then no one could.} A wicked smile lit up Joslyn’s expression as she wrapped her legs instinctively around his hips. {Lord, I hope I don’t regret this in the morning!}
Taking that as invitation enough, Xavier covered her mouth with his once more letting the hand on her cheek move around to tangle into the water drenched locks at the nape of her neck. He used his hold on her hair to move her head into the perfect angles to meet his thrusting tongue. “I want you.” He murmured huskily against her parted lips. When her legs and arms tightened involuntarily around his body, Xavier moved his hands down her body loosening the bikini strings at the back of her neck and mid-back as he went. He slowly glided his fingers lower, over to her behind and began to gently grind her hips against his growing hardness.
