I understand that gambling comes tremendous risk. Which is why we have the “everything in moderation argument”. You don’t see people smoking 100 cigarettes at once. Just like people shouldn’t take out a mortgage to hit the Jackpot. It is all a dopamine rush. Which is why people get addicted.
ENOUGH OF MY SOAPBOX, ITS TIME TO PLAY SOME CRAPS. Without explaining the game in depth let’s just say the whole point of the game is to pray to the ever loving Norse gods that the seven on a pair of dice never comes up. GUESS WHAT I PLANNED TO DO. I BET 7 HOPING THAT BITCH ASS 7 KEEPS COMING UP.
If it keeps coming, I keep getting paid. Do you see what’s coming? It is my turn to roll the dice. If I roll a 7, I no longer need to roll. But if I roll any other number, I have to keep rolling. I ROLLED 20 TIMES WITHOUT GETTING A 7. Everybody was winning tons of cash. BUT NOT ME.
I just keep rolling, hoping that 7 will creep up so I stop losing. OH LOOK ANOTHER 6. Everybody is cheering. My friend won 300 dollars. The dealer cracks a smile because she sees what is going on. I literally yelled, “Are this dice loaded! I don’t want to roll anymore!”
Everyone tells me to keep rolling. I did not really have a choice other than to keep going. I kept betting against myself the whole time. I had no idea when this hot streak against myself would end.
Eventually, after 50 minutes, it ended. I probably cost the casino around 10,000 dollars on that day. I was wiped out and ready to head back home.
I don’t understand how people can do this all day.
