I knew there was something wrong with me ever since I could remember.
Don't believe me?
Let me recount my memory for you then.
Age 1.
My mother, Queen Izabel, told me I burned her breasts while drinking her milk.
Age 3.
I formed my first ball of sunlight because I didn't want to go to sleep at night, and tried to convince my nanny there was still plenty of light left in the day.
Age 5.
By then I realized I was different, because all around me people whispered and even my parents seemed to be afraid of me.
Age 7.
I was told I could not attend school or mingle with other nobles my age until they understood what my powers were.
Age 8.
My brilliant tutor finally found out that I had the power of the Sun, like my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great Grandfather King Zanthos.
It had been so long since a member of the royal family had a descendant born with this power, that King Zanthos' power was known more of as a myth than reality, but here I was - myth breaker.
My parents almost changed my name from Princess Sunny to Princess Myth-breaker that's how shocking it was.
Apparently, I was named Princess Sunny because as a baby all I did was smile, but now there was a different meaning to my name.
I was no longer Princess Sunny the smiley princess, but Princess Sunny the Sun Bringer.
