I always thought school was meaningless, especially middle school. Everyone has the exact same classes, even though everyone's different. If one kid wants to go into Mathematics, they'll have their Math class. Along with English and History. If another wants to be a coder they still have to sit through Science and Art. And why make us learn a language that almost no one will use in their lives? At least it gets slightly better in high school. That's where I am right now.
I'm 15 and life is relatively great. I'm the star player on my high school baseball team. Or at least I was. A few months ago I was in a car accident, and a piece of glass flew straight into my left wrist. Note that I'm left-handed. I haven't been fit to play since the injurie and might never.
Even my team has turned against me. Calling me weak and an ultimate failure, but what am I supposed to do? I did leave the team in the middle of our best season, and I'm not necessarily the most normal looking kid in my school.
