On the day of his birthday, in the dead of night, while everyone slept, Marvin packed his bags, opened the door of his house, and without looking back, he departed, went to the nearest bus stop and went to the big city, like a true rebel. Marvin arranged several jobs over time: parcel delivery, waiter, gardener, and ranged between similar jobs every time he did something wrong and got fired. That life he had, had lagged behind, now he sustained himself, but it was not easy, he was always changing, getting better, surviving. Until the day came.
Marvin comes home after a night's work and takes the paper in his hands:
In the fields, mother kills herself and children starve.
That caught Marvin by surprise, he thought he'd left that behind, that he'd forgotten that life, he'd promised himself that. To forget. But he cries and sobs, his tears falling to every word he reads of that tragic news. Marvin could not even finish reading, he was already on the floor, full of anger and regret, and guilt. He had killed his mother, and consequently his brothers, and in no possible way he'd be able to forget that.
News: Man throws himself from terrace shocking residents.
THE END.
