In Memoriam
To my elder brother William; may he rest in peace.
The Lord William Adesh Rathod, Baron of Trentmore, age 47, passed away this Sunday, the 13th of July, 1930. Lord Rathod was known to all as a respected community member, capable businessman and reliable companion; he shall be greatly missed. Those who mourn his passing may be comforted by the knowledge that he did not suffer long from the heart condition with which he was so suddenly taken ill. The Baron, a noted philanthropist and guardian to the historic estate of Trenton and summer home Haverfall by-the-Sea, was much admired for his capable leadership of the Surti Trade Corporation. Lord Rathod was unmarried and regretfully passed on with no immediate heir. He is survived by his three younger siblings; Lady Eileen of Trentmore (myself), distinguished patron of the arts Lady Mira Rathod, and 2nd Lieutenant Ashwin Rathod of the 16th Light Cavalry.
