It was a crisp, clear night. Hanging high in the sky were the dual moons of Arman. The larger of the two was a full orange while the smaller moon, hanging right below its brother, was a pale blue crescent. While casting its light on a black multi-turreted castle, a shadowy figure runs away from the wall and towards the forest. Minutes later, a group of soldiers follow him. The soldiers hesitate at the edge of the forest, all too knowledgeable of the rumors of various beasts and dark powers that reside there. The captain of the group frowns and shouts at them to continue pursuit. Running through the forest, they find the prisoner on his knees in the middle of a clearing. His head is down as the soldiers surround him. Chuckling, the captain walks up to the circle of soldiers. “So much for your escape.” he says to the prisoner. The prisoner slowly turns and looks toward him, a soft fanged smile creeping across his face as his emerald eyes fade to a bright yellow glinting in the moonlight. The wolf like howl is almost drowned out by the screaming of the men.
