(oh by the way, I was using Krita at the time)
that last panel was the ticking point of some people...
because you know... introduce a character, then they just kinda DIE without giving their name (one of the biggest downfall of this entire act was to nEVER clearly in BIG AND CLEAR letters establish the time travel, which adds a possibility that he still can be saved...)

looking at this now, this strikes an uncomfortable balance between the crummy, but really charming and endearing first act of chapter 1, and the more polished current comic (except its neither charming/endearing or Polished)... it's like the puberty of Doomed One(s)!

random trivia section!
>Hoodsie, or how horns would call her, "Strife" groans and grunts a lot... that personality was scraped as it never really sold her character flaw as a person horrible at social situations, groaning portraying her as annoyed than legitimately having difficulty speaking... that's where the "stutters" and "Shivers" came in for her character. Strife is no longer their nickname, though it is still one of their titles...

>Lanna (goggles, head chopper) was at the time, your generic villain who had a thing for death, and who's motivation was like "I want the biggest bad (Strife) to become the best doom gals or something", she is now otherwise a completely different character in the remake... because the former was simply out of place...
