'Hmm that was an incredible dinner. Thank you Monsieur.'
'Mhmm-' Josh gave a slight nod of approval.
Josh stopped, allowing Mia to catch up to him. It was a rather cold night, wind blowing the leaves of trees towering the roadside. Mia hesitated once she was beside him. His hand settled reassuringly, holding her hand. Mia sheepishly looked forward, intoxicated by the obvious romantic vibes.
Their figures walked the well-lit path, silent and basking on their newfound affectionate shyness with each other. His hand was warm, his wrist held a bright blue Baume et Mercier watch encased in a polished metal layer.
'You have an expensive taste.' Mia softly said.
'Oh? In women?' Josh cheekily grinned knowing full well Mia was referring to the watch.
'Well that. And the watch.'
'Actually, it was a gift. A very sentimental gift.'
'Is it a secret? Orrr.. I'm allowed to investigate?'
Mia playfully leaned closer to Josh, the smell of his perfume rushed towards her head.
Musky wood. Perhaps Oak? Sensual and dominantly sexy.
'It was given by my mother. She always knew best.'
Josh's mellow smile turned to a muted expression. There was a lingering sense of sadness in his eyes. Mia reached out with her right hand, cold against his cheek.
'Hey. It's fine. Why don't we talk about something else?'
His green eyes looked into hers, they were both slowly drawn to each other.
'Maybe, we can walk to the park? I mean- I'm not sure if it's open but-'
His body turned slightly, facing Mia as his other hand tugged her closer. His lips met hers as Mia wrapped her arms around Josh. It was a tantalizing kiss, her persuasive lips kissing him passionately. Josh's embrace tightened, his hand trailed her backbone.
As the two broke off the kiss for the much needed air supply, Josh's grin said it all.
How can we keep our hands off each other?
The cab ride was almost too painful, both tried hard to maintain polite composure in the presence of a stranger. It was definitely difficult as Mia was determined to shoot several seductive glances at Josh, all the while sneakily biting her lips. His face was a mixture of patience and insatiable urge to abandon common sense.
Heh. This is fun.
Mia was beyond delighted. His was a company that she thoroughly enjoyed. More than just the sexual connotations, he had been a complete gentleman. Perfect conversation, perfect dinner and perfect manners. 10/10.
The cab stopped at Mia's building. As they beeline for the elevator, Josh thought about how sexy Mia looked tonight. Her dress still clinging on to her body, her hair a little bit ruffled up from the earlier kiss.
He exhaled. Josh felt a heavy yearning to push her against the elevator's wall and have his way with her.
DING.
The elevator stopped at 7th Floor, allowing the amorous couple to exit and pace towards their destination.
